When I think of a wine bar I think of a small cozy dimly lit establishment with your standard overhead storage for the bar with black clad wait staff and servers serving couples out for a romantic dinner. The Wine Artist is pretty much none of that. True the building is in a corporate business park so it looks like a dentist office outside, but once you go through the lobby and doors its more like a hotel lobby with 3 rooms (waiting area, tall tabled bar area and open serving large countered multi purpose area). The bar is actually pretty wide and deep with no storage to block the flow of the room. The large tables were probably 4X8 and sat 10 comfortably. Tile floors, granite countertops, adjustable lighting. Truth be told Im more of a beer drinker socially, scotch and whiskey in smaller groups or by myself and wine when Im at home or with dinner. Im always curious to try white sangrias because I cant seem to make a good one and most places dont have a great memorable one. I love the fruit chunks in theirs, but I found the overall flavor missing something, maybe strawberry or kiwi, some zing. The apples were ok and the mangos ok too. I checked in a got 20% off a bottle on yelp, and they give away quite a bit of prices and coupons for classes. Considering I went here on a Wednesday at about half capacity I thought it pretty lively and it did get loud. I guess wine bars arent the place to go on dates anymore. I wish they had closer wine bars and had did wine tours like they do with brewery tours. No corking fee here. They really showcase their private parties, meetings and events bookings, but they should push their cooking classes more, Ive been to Sur Le table, GreatNews, UCI and Williams Sonoma, but the things they are missing is wine. Why not drink while you cook, I mean thats pretty much what we do at home. Sure they have fancier class sets ups with cameras and flat screens, but dinner should be fun and social, not like a class you take when youre in school. After all its about the flavor and enjoyment of food, and in this case wine as well.

We hired The Wine Artist to host a team building event for 15 people. We decided to do the "Cooking with Wine" class which was a hit amongst the team. MJ was our instructor and she made everyone feel extremely comfortable and taught us all about the food we were cooking, including the ingredients and background of the dishes. Everyone had such a great time and the menu was fantastic! The venue is beautiful and I wouldnt hesitate doing this event again. It was well worth the $$ in my opinion because everything was all inclusive, the ingredients, the cooking class, the food, and drinks including wine/beer were all provided. Two thumbs up!

The venue is lovely! Very clean and classy look. I went there for a baby shower and a wedding reception. The food and wine was excellent and the service was great! I was the wedding coordinator for a wedding where the reception took place there and there was enough space for the guests to dance and also to have a DJ! They also had a flat screen tv so the bride and groom can put their slideshow on repeat as background. Great place to have birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, comany parties, wedding reception and just any special events. They also offer cooking classes and other fun activities.

I had my Chrisrmas Party here and what a blast we had! MJ the owner was a pleasure to work with. I met with her before hand and we talked about the menu and venue. The place was beautifully done up for Christmas. She made sure everything went off without a hitch all night long. She is darling and completely hands on and helpful in every way. All we had to do was show up and enjoy! Plus the wine was DEELISH tloo! This was our best party ever and all my guests loved it and had a fabulous time! Thank you MJ for everything!!

What a great experience! I attended an engagement party here and wound up coming back for a cooking class. Me and my fiancé had a great time cooking thai food, it was lost of fun. Meeting the owner was a pleasure, shes a wonderful host and a great instructor. Id recommend it to anyone.

My Girl Scout troop did a cooking class here and it was great! They learned something and had fun doing it. The owner even modified the class to meet the Cadette cooking badge:). Dont let the name fool you- this place is great for kids!!

This place is a hidden gem, I walked in and was blown away. You basically walk into this place and you feel like you are in Tuscany. It is a great place to have a special event, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Purchased two tickets to an event as a birthday gift. The venue was closed when we arrived. No email, no phone call. Unprofessional and unreliable.
