The most miserable and painful wine tasting we have ever experienced in over in 25 years was at Thomas George Estates this afternoon, June 27, 2017. The winery was highly recommended and the wines we had were good, unfortunately the way we were treated by the guy behind the counter was so bad we could not, nor will we ever buy wines from this winery. In 25 years of wine tasting in every wine region in California we have never encountered such a smug and pretentious wine server. There are many other great wineries in Sonoma that should be enjoyed and you will be appreciated.

This is easily the most beautiful scenery I could imagine. The fact that this winery covers 4 distinct vinyards that traverse such distinct geographical areas make this a treat to visit. They are not a very old winery but they have earned every year of distinction from their inception. I could spend an entire vacation living in their tasting room and just breathing in the lush fumes of wines yet bottled.

Thomas George is much better to go to on the weekdays, when they use the tasting room itself. On the weekends they use a fake cave that seems lovely, but screams fake and inauthentic. The tasting room is beautiful, though, and feels more accessible because of the size of the bar. The 2009 Zinfandel caught my taste buds. The servers has great personalities and were quick with pours and with jokes.

Small production winery on Westside road. Lovely facility, with caves available for special events. The wines themselves are small-production and delicious. We just stopped in, even with road construction, and were rewarded with one of our better winery experiences.

Over priced for wines that are way too young ($40 for pinot "reserve" tastings when theyre all 2-3 years old). Dont copy Napa and turn into an overpriced tourist trap!!

Good Chardonnay. Pinots are very light and acidic. Tasting in the cave does not provide enough space for visitors. Refused to honor VISA Signature 2 for 1 tasting.

This is thus far one of the most beautiful wineries we have visited and their wines are very very good. This was our 3rd trip there.
