We found this place while on vacation through the VISA signature Sonoma Wineries promotion. On that promotion some wineries are listed as by appointment. This one was NOT marked with that. On arriving we found the place empty with one guy inside who coldly informed us it was by appointment only. I showed him the VISA promotion which clearly showed that other wineries listed "appointment necessary" and that his did not. He did not care. I warned him I would put this on the internet as well as contact VISA and let them know that he was not complying with the terms of the VISA signature program through which he was getting advertised and he didnt seem to care. Avoid this place, the guy was a snob.

My absolute fave stop in Glen Ellen... and when it comes to Cabernet- They are a MUST STOP when in Sonoma County. High Elevation Cabernet and they poured a 2003, 05, 07 and an 09. Then we tried an amazing 2011 that was just released. Terrific customer service by the staff on our visit. They are a true Cab powerhouse. Cabernet on High!
