With the fairly recent renovation of the kids playground, Osage is looking better than ever. Always a good place to go for a walk with the dog or just a short bike ride around the park. Just be careful about when you go, as most weekends there are different sports games and plenty of people, and at nights if youre trying to throw a party, nearby houses will not be afraid to call the cops with a noise complaint.

Met a girl named Holly when I was in seventh grade. We were the best of chums. I remember the rose garden by the fountains best, and the fact that every Saturday when we met she pretended to be mute. This continued to the time I called her from a new state, to which I was unhappily relocated. This park was my favorite hangout while homeschooling.

I just graduated from Charlotte wood but I really will miss this place, because I grew up here. They are reconstructing it so they tore down all the playground equipment, which makes me sad, and thats why Im only giving it 4 stars. The reconstruction should be done by the end of summer 2016.

Great local park! Newly remodeled play structures with soft non-slip playground. There are also baseball fields, open fields and tennis courts nearby. You can spend an entire afternoon with the kids entertained.

Beautiful city park. Well maintained- features great kids playground, baseball fields, wide path encircling the park , picnic tables and beautiful memorial rose garden. Lots of parking and restrooms.

This park is clean and has lots of open space. It is well maintained and dog friendly (on-leash). The gardens are small but welcoming, and the bird watching map is a nice touch.
