Walking up the hill to this winery, we were excited to be surround by such beautiful flowers, scenery and atmosphere. They have a pretty small tasting room, but they have a nice outside patio where you can enjoy your wine. We went inside for the tasting and eventually went outside to hang out and take pictures. They guy who pour our wines was super nice and was very attentive to giving us a good experience. If you like mostly reds, this place has a lot of them. I’m personally not a huge fan, but it was nice to try. I thought it was cool that they pour all their wines through and animal spout (which you can buy there). Overall, good experience and pretty patio to hangout out on.

I bought fritz wine from my local wine store in Maryland just because my brothers name is Fritz. I was shocked that the wine actually tasted phenomenal! So when we visited the area, we had to stop at the Fritz Underground Winery to check it out. We were so happy we did! The winery location is so picturesque- absolutely gorgeous! But the tasting room & wine areas are great, as well. We joined the wine club & have enjoyed a variety of great wines by Fritz. Absolutely delicious wines- worth the beautiful drive to taste them at the source!

The bold upfront wines, including a very reasonably priced Zinfandel, friendly service, and lovely view were reason enough to join the club.

Excellent Savignon Blanc and estate zinfandel. They do however have a two bottle minimum to waive the $15 tasting fee.
