This theater is a theater lovers dream. Classic architecture, always plays wonderful smaller movies and has a staff that is incredibly attentive and personable. Should youve looking for a theater that is more about the love of movies and less cooperate, this may be the place for you. I enjoy this spot so much, I watch movies multiple times here. Their concession prices arent much cheaper than other places but no where near as expensive as AMC or Cinemark. Also, they leave movie posters out for customers to take home free. Definitely recommend a visit to this one.

Classic cinema in Berkeley - one of my favorites, especially because they do NOT play blockbusters, but rather more interesting European/foreign films. I hope they stay in business for many years! (only minor annoyance is they use brown paper bags for their popcorn, which make a lot of noise and disrupt the movie watching experience - ideally, they would switch to thinner paper bags that make less noise (compare to the ones used by AMC theaters)).

This movies theater is top of the line. The inside is huge and looks really good. Its not your classic move theater, but fairly different-- in a good and appealing way. The staff are friendly, the theaters themselves (the ones I experienced) are pretty big and look and feel really nice. The concession stands dont have too many options, but then again is that really why your there? Really greater place, you have to see it for yourself.

Some people go to shrinks, I go to the Landmartk Cinemas to get my head straight. The best Indie and mainstream flicks, and plenty of them. Ive seen more gems here than any theaters in L.A. or N.Y. Dont miss the ones that dont get mainstream publicity. Thank heavens for these Bijoux Palaces. And how wonderful to be able to see such great films during week days as well as nights.

Staff and management are a complete joke. Please expect least common sense from them. This afternoon the counter attendant at the snack bar handed me an OPEN cup of boiling water for tea, OPEN yes! Just with the lid on top. Without telling me the lid was on!!! Are you freaking kidding me???? Burned myself horribly and right after that, she offered me ice to put over

I like the theatre, but major fail on their part- the box office has no posted hours anywhere, no sign at the theatre, no hours online, no hours on the phone recording. Id love to know when I could buy tickets here, especially since I work late at night and can barely make the movies I go see. Its frustrating and unprofessional!

This is a very cozy movie theater, dont be intimidated by the Box Office lines because they tend to move quickly. The insides of the actual theater is quite smaller than the rest, they include large cozy leather couches and non stadium seating. You are able to bring you "Lot 68" drinks inside the theaters.

Features limited release movies that you wont find at a multiplex. Its walking distance from some really great restaurants and bars. The theater has a bar/ restaurant where you can take your cocktail in to the movie with. Order a double to last you through the movie.

Good variety, and a large number of screens, without feeling like an anonymous multiplex. Intelligent programming, good senior pricing. Recent upgrades have created comfortable seating and pretty good sight lines - it is an older structure.

Great Theater with Great Movie selection. However, it is slated for demolition. The Berkeley City Council has approved an 18 story monstrosity at the theaters location. The theater will be gone forever in the next few years.

Its not my favorite theater but they usually play the movies that dont play at the Grand Lake Theater. This theater looks dated and probably needs a renovation.

Theaters all allow alcohol from the bar in front! Theaters 1 and 2 have balcony couch seating! Love this theater!
