This park is nice. Small and big dog sections, lights for night time, scoopers, trash cans, water taps, and even high fences. Its far from perfect and that has solely to do with the people. Many people bring their large dogs to the small dog side. Most are friendly, but a huskey or German Shepard has no business playing with a terrier! They just bowl them over and dominate them. Then there are the unfriendly dogs, which people continue to bring day after day. This problem is made worse by the fact that owners dont seem to give a damn. They just sit in the chairs and chat with each other, ignoring whats going on and not picking up after their pets. Shame really. Could be very civil.

I took my Yorkie here for the first time. Ive always went to other parks. Well, the grass smells of dog feces. Large dog owners had their dogs in the small dog area. And even though my dog was only touching the ground for about 4 minutes being that the other dog owners couldnt control their dogs, my Yorkie who has NEVER had an issue, he brought home a tick. Thats the last time that Ill be there. Ill stick to our own little park, Werners Field Park.

Me and my wife bring our 4 month Miniature Pinscher and 10 year Laso who love the grass since shes spent 10 year in Pennsylvania. We like the small and large side of the park. Everyone does a pretty good job picking up after their dogs. There are some benches and Rubbermaid chairs in the park. Some small trees for shade. Could do with some more trees or shade covers. Over all we like this park.

Its a good park other people that cant read signs. Or just are too selfish to care. There are a few regular people, who bring there large dogs in the small dog area. Pretty frustrating considering you constantly have to be concerned with having a big dog run over your smaller dog and have a hefty vet bill for a broken limb or worse ..

While the space and set up is fantastic, unfortunately the grass completely infested with tiny burrs. They dont seem to stick to short haired dogs but my long haired pups required hours of brushing and I still dont think I got them all. I wont go back unless my dogs are clipped very short first.

It is wonderful to have a dog park so close to our home in the neighborhood. There are not a lot of dog parks in the City of Phoenix. But this is one of the best! Chairs, water for the pups, benches a small dog and large dog area, and they even planted trees for shading!

We have gone here a few times and while it gets the job done it does leave a lot to be desired. I mostly wish there were some larger trees for shade or some sort of canopy. The other pet owners have been a friendly group which makes it nice.

Great fenced in dog park! HUGE area. There are sides for small dogs and big dogs. Theres community water and bags to pick up poop. So many people love this park, there are definitely regulars. Cant wait to bring my dog back again!

Pros: Huge area. Two seperate fenced areas for athletic, or more timid dogs. I love that, because Ive been the person for both types of K9s. Con: General lack of landscaping in and around the two massive grassy "fenced pens".

This dog park is clean and always a nice place to take the dogs. The only issue is sometimes people bring their larger dogs that are very playful to the small dog side, and let their dogs run over the smaller pups.

Nice amount of room for my dog to run, fenced in, water, two sides (big and little dogs), but wish for more shade. Dont mistake open park with lease rules for this park. At corner of Cave Creek and Grover.

The owners are attentive, communicative, and aware. The dogs are well-behaved and when theyre not, the owners step in. You can come here and relax with your well-behaved dog and make human friends.

This dog park is perfect for animal watching. I went here to watch people and their dogs play in two square fenced areas. Great time. If I had a dog, it would definitely benefit from this location.

I dont understand why people bring Yorkies and other toy breeds into the large dog area. I cant take my 75lb dog to play there as he could inadvertently injure these little dogs just playing.

All the dog owners we have met have been very understanding about how we are socializing our dogs on leash at dog parks before trusting them off leash. Everyone has been extremely helpful.

Cute little dog park. Could be bigger and there isnt any night time lighting, but Im glad its there for when my pups need exercise and all the people weve met there have been really nice.

Seems like a decent park, but just went there for the first time and its closed until the grass grows back so I cant really rate it and just went with 3 stars to stay neutral.

Very friendly dog park with lots of locals and great dogs. There is never any poop on the ground for long and everyone takes care of each other. Great kept park.

Both the small and large dog park are large with plush grass and plenty of chairs. Not a lot of shade nor a lot of light at night. Overall pretty decent park.

Nice sized dog park, two large fenced areas. Remember its a drainage basin so it can be damp if it ever rains. No shade so be careful in the summer.

Great place to have your puppy socialize with people and other dogs. Large lot where they can run and play and for the owners there is shade and sittings.

The dog park is a great place to let your dog run and mingle, I think the only problem with it is that there isnt enough shade for those hot summer days.

Lots of good open space for the dogs. Especially busy around rush hour & weekend mornings. Wish it had restrooms for the people & and a bit more shade.

I love taking my dogs to the park. Very wide and spacious for what ever you want to do as long as it is part of park regulations.

Big and open space. Nice for kites and such or sports. Some small grills but not much to do if you dont bring it yourself
