This is Adriber I will always provide the best and honest reviews. This is a beautiful big park. Great place to have a picnic and ride you bikes, skate or run, Lots of people even bring their friendly pets to run with. The theme park is on top of a man made island, the theme park is nice for any kid 6 year old and under. Some times the have bracelet days to help you save money. Customer service is great. After you finish visiting the theme explore the rest of the park. Great place to take pictures. The park is very clean so please dont trash the park, rivers or pound for everyone to enjoy. Some of the Ramada are also in the man made island. The play ground is nice also for kids to play. They also have a paddle boat to help enjoy the park even more. Feed the ducks, goose, fish , and rumor has it turtles coming soon. A street divides the south part of the park that has basketball court, swimming pools, handball and so on. The only suggestion for the owners of the theme park is the following. Some of the rides are old and could be upgraded. Maybe the owner could see about getting endorsement like Thomas The Train. That would be super fun for kids riding Thomas and singing the theme song. Or have a Target, Bank of America or other big companies sponsor day. Where company will pay for every person bracelet to sponsor their company. As a result more people would come and spend money on other things like food or toys. The money that is made could be used to upgrade the marry go round or Rollercoaster and expand the theme park. Even create and actual splash play ground instead of using the same bumper boat ride section. You can point out how encanto theme park is deeply tied with the state history and culture as a place worth preserving. Just some ideas. On the other hand for the actual park only suggestion is to have more trash containers some people dont have to walk almost close to the bathroom to trash there items. As always Im the firm believer of quality over quantity. This is my review and remember always look for adriber for the best and honest review.

VERY lively, family-oriented park. Often see people: BBQ, picnic, run, walk their dog, take pregnancy/anniversary/etc photos, fish (daily limit on fish type; age 9 and under no fishing license), go on dates, bring the kids to play, have little kid birthdays at Enchanted Island, etc. Lots of ducks and swans. Can feed them, and go on water boat rides to "swim with them" or just stand on the sand near them Enchanted Island is like a mini Castles and Coasters. Has a train that goes around the park, a roller coaster, water bumper cars, food cart, arcade, carousel, and more. Intended for little kids-- has height minimums and maximums for rides. Open late Sat & Sun till about 8 pm. Closes earlier on weekdays. Can have sections of it and the park reserved for birthday parties for a fee. Can just stroll around the amusement park to look around for free Lots of bridges, grassy areas, play areas like swingsets and slides, BBQ stations, parking. Reasonably well lit though some areas can be dark, like plain expansive areas of grass with "nothing to do" but throw a ball or rest under a tree. Lots of tall, impressive trees considering its Phoenix Overall impressive park. Good bit of Pokemon Go stops, but they are very spread apart. Because of that, its hard to find a single route to travel to "hit 10 unique Pokemon stops in one strategic go." Basically, its not like Tempe Beach Park. What I like about Tempe Beach Park is most of the PokeStops are all in a single line so you can just hit them all walking a straight line; at Encanto Park you have to wander a lot to reach them all

Im a mom and to me playgrounds matter. If youve never been to this park, let me help you out. This is a large and sprawling park divided by Encanto Blvd. On the south side you have a sport complex and 2 fantastic playgrounds, all covered in soft woodchips. Youll find plenty of parking right off of 15th Ave along with bathrooms. The 3-5 area has the most realistically detailed giant FROGS and turtles. Also a very vast climbing equipment with slides. The bigger kids area has those solid metal zip lines, 3 giant man made mountains with a cave in the top, connected by ropes. Your climber will be so happy. And that is also where you will find the swings and baby swings. There is also an out door workout equipment playground for grownups. Once you cross over north of Enconto Blvd, youll find a huge parking lot but stil have a long walk to the next playground on the far north end of the park. It is another vast but different climbing equipment. There are plenty of water fountains but finding a public bathroom that was unlocked was a challenge. If you are planning on exploring this park, wear good shoes & carry a bottle of water. We were there on the first of October and we were melting.

I am currently at the easter hunt - this was the worst experience Ive had at this park. The people hosting the easter hunt are beyond rude and tacky. I guess in they want to exercise the little power that they have in their lives! They did not allow 2 parents to go to the viewing area- which was a lie because I saw entire families in the viewing area . This one rude lady either mexican or native american yelled at me and said we werent allowed . I seen her conduct herself poorly with other parents as well . She obviously had a preference for those that resembled her. I pity her. As a tax payer and resident of the neighborhood I did not appreciate this as I addressed her respectfully. Ill be in scottsdale next year for sure !!!!

Oh this is such a nice surprise in downtown Phoenix!!!! Lots of walking paths trees, and WATER! No thats not a mirage when you see it on the map !! There is a huge community room which can be rented through Parks and Recreation. It has wood floors high ceilings and a fantastic view of the water! There are several foot bridges over the waterways which makes one feel as though you are not in the desert anymore! If you have kids , there is an amusement park. Very well planned out! You feel set back from the city yet you can still see the high rises in the distance.

This park is about as old as Phoenix but its still a nice park large and has the Enchanted Island which is a childrens amusement park for small kids. The negative is lack of accessibility to the park rides for adults and children in wheelchairs. I was only able to get onto the carousel an extremely steep worn out ramp. The train was supposed to have been made accessible according to staff years ago the ramp to it was never completed. Very disappointed that children and families lets wheelchairs cannot enjoy Enchanted Island in this day and age.
