story written on April 3 : Originally posted on their Facebook page For many years i have seen many great shows at msg and had a blast, but a few days ago showed me a different picture lurking within the staff of the arena. In order to paint the full picture i must start this story from the beginning to the event. Several months in advance i bought a ticket to see Iron Maiden; the ticket itself costed an arm and a leg rounding up to $150 for seats way high up in the nosebleeds. It wasnt until the day of the show that i saw my seats were way high on the side of the stage to the point where the setup for the stage was blocking the band from my vision; so i decided to get my moneys worth and work my way down to get as close as possible. On the floor of the arena were two GA sections, and i made my way into one of them. I make my way into the crowd to have a security guard drag me out in a violent manner from where the show is. I immediately apologized and was cooperating with full respect and understanding, telling them that i just wanted to get as close to the band s possible. Instead of being relocated to my seat i was told i was to be ejected from the show even though the show just started. I begged and even pleaded for a second chance again telling them my reasons and that i was sorry. The staff was rude as when they were escorting me out they proceeded to tear up my ticket and laughed. One of them when he heard why stated that he himself did the same thing i did when he was younger and laughed as well. They brought me down to the door where the manager was, i again told him my story and apologized, and begged for a second chance, but it wouldnt go through to him. They took my id; wrote down my information on a piece of my torn up ticket and proceeded to remove me from the area. I again was compliant and pleaded for a second chance, at one point the price for the ticket was brought up because of how expensive it was, but instead he told me that he didnt care how much i paid and if i got into the arena again i would be arrested. A few minutes later i heard that tickets were still on sale for the event as people had canceled prior to, i was afraid to even set foot in there, i found a staff member outside of the arena, and after hearing my story he would see if the manager would be willing to speak to me on the subject of purchasing another ticket to the event, after the employee spoke to the manager,he came over to me and told me that he kicked me out for a reason ,then he said that if i didnt evacuate the premises that i would be arrested. I left feeling robbed; i also have another ticket prior from when AC/DC rescheduled their show, and because of this experience i am concerned that the ill mannered staff might do so again.

The New York Knicks win, and so do you-its more than just a basketball game. Im a past resident of NYC used to go to the games at the Garden and always enjoyed them. I was in town for a few days and I asked my daughter (22) if she would like to see a basketball game, she said yeah. I said ok we are going to watch the Knicks (vs Orlando) at the "greatest arena in the world (she wasnt impressed)" and I picked up some tickets from Stubhub. We had to go to a local library to print out the tickets-no big deal. We parked not too far away and walked to MSG. She went in first I walked around taking photos. My daughter and I had a ball. But first getting into the arena as so easy. They have many places where you can enter-they scan your ticket and in you go. No lines, no hassle. We got a free Knick blue and orange scarf from Kia-which we wore for the next few cold days. Good quality I will wear it often in my hometown when it gets cold. We were in the upper level, but I thought it was up a little high, but two guys sat behind us and one said to the other, "man these are great seats". I laughed and said to my daughter all the seats are great when you think about it. Loved the live organist playing-always a special touch. There was a live DJ who was entertaining the crowd along with the Knicks City Dancers. There was a half-time dog show-2 dogs doing some really fantastic tricks. And along with the shooting tee-shirts into the audience-it was more than just basketball. The large jumbo screens are put to good use and the sound system is absolutely amazing. Ive been in many enclosed arenas, but I havent be at the garden for a while and its in another class of arenas as far as clarity and sound. Cant wait to get back to the Big Apple and MSG. The best part I enjoyed with the Knicks players listened to a song and tried to name the tune and that artist. That was so funny. p.s. during the game, my daughter asked me whats a "Knick!"
