I was in a group of about 8 girls and with a promoter, so Im proof that just because you arrive with a promoter it doesnt guarantee you access. They wouldnt let me in, the fatass bouncer just ignored me as I handed him my ID & cut me off with the velvet rope, meanwhile ALL the other girls I was with were let in. I was like "I was with them" and he responds with "Not right now". WTF kind of crap answer is that!?! So I was like "Just tell me, what is it, your not going to offend me, why cant I come in!?" but he just ignored me. I think it was the pedophile looking doorman next to him with the hideous mustache & the clipboard that told him not to let me in, since my friend told me how she noticed how he was checking out all the girls going in, most likely for approval. Im a latina but could pass off as white, so I dont think it was racism. Plus there were two black girls in the group I was with, but they both were really skinny, tall and look like models. There was also another latina girl, she didnt look like a model since she was a bit shorter but she as well was on the skinnier side. What was the only difference between me and these other girls? Im not a size 0-2, that was the only difference. I happen to be slightly curvier, but Im not fat. I should have taken the warning from a girl I had met a couple of nights before this when we mentioned to her that we were going to check this place out. She told me how she got the rope closed on her too. She also happens to have more of a curvy body type like me. I wish I had read the reviews on here too before trying this sh!thole place, I would have known that they only accept models and model looking girls. Maybe it was that the clothes I was wearing wasnt flashy enough, or that I wasnt dolled up enough, but I highly suspect it was because of my body type. Fukc this place, theres tons of better places to party at in NYC for nightlife that arent judgmental. I dont know what possessed me to come here anyway, I hate these type of places where girls must wear short dresses and heels with overpriced bottle service and you cant really dance. I prefer Pacha, Space, Cielo, Output, etc, places that dont judge you for your appearance (at least it hasnt happened to me at those places & I havent witnessed it while waiting to get in) and where you can actually dance. So overall, girls, dont come here unless you look like rich Barbie and her friends.

Worst club ever. Just as others said before me. We arrived with a promoter who told us the entry fee is $40 and we get a table and drinks. When we arrived we had to pay to a shady guy on the street, he put the money into his pocket than an even worse looking, typical gangster looking man checked us out and said that the boys can go in, the girls just a few mins later. There was Noone at the club at that time which was a little scary as it was well after 10pm. The place was small, dark but elegant. Reminded me to some sect place. The staff than started to put the drinks on the table. Actually they had vodka with apple, vodka with orange, vodka with energy drink. Luckily vodka is the only drink i truly hate. But we live once, ive already paied so, ok lets drink that. 1-2 mins later they started to let in the crowd. They immediately came to our table and i couldnt even get a second glass before the vodka bottles got empty, or just "disappeared". A few more mins later there were so many ppl that even the sofas top behind us was full so we just left the table. Than we tried to enjoy the music, which is the only positive about the club, but we couldnt really enjoy it because of the crowd. After a while i had to go to the restroom. In about 20 mins i was able to get there (20meters) but therewas a huge line so i had to wait 30mins to finally get in. We were in the club for about 20 more mins than we left. If u want to dance, u cant. There is no space for that. If u want to drink, u "cant". Even if it was advertised as unlimited drink after entrance fee, u will not get more than 1-2 glass of cheap vodka. The drinks at the bar are expensive. If u want to just have fun with friends, u cant. Rude, scary staff, no place to chill for a min, just the sardine hall. I hardly believe everything (or anything?) works legally at that club. They didnt give receipt, and iam absolutely sure that place cant have that many people in at once. Its really unsafe.

Went here as a group of 7 people, 4 guys/3 girls, before wed arrived one of the girls setup table/bottle service, supposedly the deal for us was two bottles, the second one at half price as a promo, friend of a friend one-time type deal. We got to the club, got in right away, because we had bottle service of course, for all intensive purposes we had a great time, mainly because it was a good mix of people in our group. When the bill came there was no deal on the 2nd bottle, and a complete lack of consideration from the manager. We had a good sized group and had added a bunch of extras to our bill. I go to a lot of places, in good sized groups and often get table/bottle service, because honestly I work hard and I hate waiting on lines. The servers were all really nice, the doormen as well, however the manager didnt handle the apparent miscommunication very well at all. I cannot recommend this place and probably will never go back. Which is a shame, because the rest of the staff doesnt deserve to have their manager ruin it for them. Honestly, spend your time and money elsewhere.

OK, I am not a 6 model, I dont work on Wall Street, and I dont have amazing connections at Avenue, so how did I get in? Simple: its called BEING NICE. Strike up a conversation with Wass; hes actually an interesting dude. I highly recommend asking him about the time that he had to put onion juice under his eyes in order to cry for a scene about his ex-lovers cousins death. Its a great story. We actually got so caught up in the conversation that he held up the line. Inside the club, its pretty good though not the absolute best. Drinks are overpriced and weak. Warm plates came out cold. I liked the music they played but i was the only one that danced. Also in case you are wondering that day I was wearing the following: romeo gigli blouse with ZARA cigarette jeans and a gold heirloom necklace (but i got it from a pawn shop so doesnt count). highly recommend dressing well.

Majorly over crowded. Everyone was packed in like sardines. Moreover, after we dropped $1k on two bottles they did not provide us with a table. We were told to use the "shared" table space. Great idea... except it was so crowded that we couldnt get to our "shared" space. So we effectively had no idea who was helping themselves to our bottles. It took buying another bottle (now putting our bill into the $1.5-1.7k range) to get our own table upstairs. I truly dont understand how folks on the bottom floor could have enjoyed themselves in any capacity. Everyone was standing shoulder to shoulder. There was no dance floor. The lines to the bathrooms were ridiculous. To top it all of, I ended up stepping out for a phone call and then could not get back in. Ironically, that was the highlight of my night... I was thrilled to escape clusterf* that was happening inside.
