Upon cancelling our membership at signature I feel obligated to write a review to warn and inform future customers. My sons have been members here for 4 years and in those 4 years they were lucky enough to train on one of the best layouts Virginia Beach has to offer. although the lay out of the course was pristine, the lack of funds and the constant rumors spreading about the financial problems signature had, worried me. The proof of the lack of funds is in the greens. But this was not the sole reason we left Signature. The golf staff was constantly rude, lecturing my children about overusing the practice the facility. (It is in the contract that unlimited balls and playing was included for a montly fee). This is understandable due to my childrens strong work ethic but I am against the rude nature towards my children. I did not pay my childrens membership fee to have my children lectured or yelled at. We are customers and we should be treated fairly. The reason I wanted to abruptly end membership at signature was because as a parent I did not want my children to practice in an environment that didnt welcome them nor respected them. I strongly dislike that the staff is talking behind my childrens back about how they werent respectful because what they are doing now is disrespectful.

Terribly disappointed. I used to love The Signature, not anymore. The course is in terrible shape. I cannot believe they have the audacity to charge $70, it is barely a step above a muni course. Tons of weeds all around the course, greens were in okay shape, not great, several greens were just flat out bad. I will not be going back unless a personal friend tells me it is vastly improved. If I were a member there, I would be asking for a refund.

55+ community with private homes and two condominium communities. The community includes several lakes, a Village Hall with library, meeting/game rooms, gym, kitchen, and pool and patio area, an Arnold Palmer golf course, the Signature Grill restaurant with bar, dinning room and covered patio. The area is beautifully landscapes and maintained.

URBAN CIGARLOVERS

Brittany and Lane are the best! They were there for all questions and concerns. I would recommend this venue and their employees to everyone looking for a place to have their wedding. I would also like to add that we live in Nc. So they handled the event very well from another state.

From Pittsburgh that get a lot of rain and the greens are the worst Ive ever played! Sand traps are filled with water (not pumped out) and hard as concrete! Beautiful layout but not maintained very well!

We go there once a year for dinner and normally it is wonderful. This year was disappointing. Food was flavorless and cold. Well try again next year.

Fairways and tee offs were good but the greens were terrible. Lots of damage from divots and some type of disease.

Excellent course layout. Almost no flat fairways and lots of water. Greens are fast and undulating.
