This place is to much money, based on what you get. It was smelly and outdated, from the appliances to the decor. I purchased a 2 bdrm suite with water park tickets, I stayed for.2 nights, it was not worth it. The bathrooms were dirty as well as a some of the pillows, my husband and I called to complain and waere prompted to leave a message, which is absolutely ridiculous. The one small cramped elevator they had was broken half of the time we were there. Everything within the resort was overpriced, especially the food. The waterpark itself is very small compared to some other indoor water parks Ive gone to, we couldnt do some of the free recreational activities, like basketball, tennis, and volleyball because they had a gun show going on, very disappointing. I would not go again nor will I recommend this place, sorry just being honest.

This course was in very poor condition and poorly run. There were no rangers on the course or snack carts. The course is poorly maintained and is WAY overpriced ($70 normal rate). I found a discounted rate of $39 online but even that was not worth it. Mt Laurel in White Haven is a much better course and for a lot cheaper. There were four groups in front of us that were backed up due to a group trying to teach one of the players on the course. When this was reported to the clubhouse, there was no explanation as to where the rangers were; the response from the staff member in the clubhouse: "the course plays a five hour round." This may be the worst course in the Pocono area.

7 iron off the first tee- and its a par 5!!!!!! Pretty much sums this place up. Target golf- dont miss a fairway or you wont find your ball. Leave your driver at home. We finally left the course on the 13th because we had already been out there for 4.5 hrs and waited on most shots (no rangers!). I did provide feedback to a lady working the counter when we left and she was useless. No burgers at the turn (a bad hotdog on a stale bun was offered). Save your money- go somewhere else. Arrogant management that doesnt know golf or care about making sure the golf is fun. The place is a toilet.

Split Rock is a well kept, over designed, pretentious layout. Our group of three lost a ball on nearly every hole. The fairways are narrow with little room before unmarked lateral hazards on either side. GPS carts are useless when cart path only is in effect, and the course is otherwise unmarked. Keep the driver in the bag - or keep your clubs in the car and head to another course. This one is tedium with a nice view.

Split Rock Golf Course is very nice, yes is may be more difficult than many courses, but it is in the mountains and has many natural boundaries. The Greens were in excellent condition in the fall of 2015 and I thought the staff was very nice. The restaurant food is excellent. It is a great place to place golf and have a meal.

We are playing the South and North course again this Tuesday. From the very beginning when it was only nine holes and Laura was the Pro we enjoyed playing the nine holes. Since then there are now 27 holes, a beautiful club house and restaurant. We will keep coming back for more golf as long as we are able. Rick & Judy Grammes

Dont waste your money at this "Golf Course" . Its a terrible, contrived layout. Youll spend most of your time trying to figure out where "not" to hit the ball. The South course was ridiculously narrow as well. Go across 940 to Jack Frost, which is the best course in the Poconos IMO and was resonable at 55.00 midweek

I played Split Rock last year for the last time in my life. The course was in horrible condition and management could care less. Way over priced; Mt Laural is a far better course for the price. I will not spend the money to play this toilet again.

I travel an hour and 40 minutes every year to play this course....love it. Beautiful and challenging....wildlife all around. I would only recommend against playing this course if it is "cart path only"....will never do that again.

A comfortable, fun stay...love the villas. Lots of renovations over our years of visiting. Great trails to wander around. Lots to see and do.
