I saw Hairspray at this theatre this summer and I couldnt believe it was community theatre. This theatre clearly uses the most outstanding talent in the area. The show had 8 lead characters, every one of them was professional and polished. The ensemble was incredible, too - the non-stop dancing! The music was extraordinary. I dont know how they got an entire orchestra in this intimate setting, but they did. This was every bit as spectacular as the National Hairspray Tour at the Kennedy Center! I was lucky to get tickets, the show at LTA was sold out a few weeks before the performance. I am buying a subscription!

I went here to see a performance by by granddaughter, so of course, I loved it. This is a very nice community theater that offers summer camps and courses for kids. It is well organized and all the children seemed to love being there. The adults in charge have an excellent grasp on things (I am a teacher) and seem to really enjoy being with the kids. For anyone in the D.C. area looking for a good drama camp for kids, this is a great choice.

This is a wonderfully intimate theater. It is one of the few community theaters owned by the group. There are multiple performed throughout the year, including during the summer. Amongst the many plays there are also two musicals each season and A Christmas Carol is also performed annually.

A great little theatre. Its a great place to see a fun show for a fraction of the price of a larger theatre in the area. There are plenty of food joints nearby. The play was good. The atmosphere was good. Our evening here was good.

I[ve been so far to two plays. The actors are first class and the theatre is small so theres not a bad seat in the house. Great place for a great price. Always enjoyed seeing A Christmas Carol for the last 2 years.

Theres not a bad seat in the house! Musicals are almost always really good while some of the other productions are very amateur. For community theatre, its really quite good.
