Crane Meadows

My beekeeping partner and I stopped by Griffin Meadery Sunday evening. Both of us have made meads for many years and we were blown away by the awesome variety of real great meads. I wish I could have sampled more than the 7 that I got to taste. Bruce and Bridgett were absolutely charming to chat with and very informative. I really appreciated how Bridgett arranged the meads I chose to taste into an order the pleased the pallet. I hadnt intended to buy anything, but walked out with 4 bottles. Well worth the trip!

Its a bit out of the way, yes. But the variety of mead, the atmosphere of the bar and tasting room, the friendliness of Bruce, and the quality of the meads is reason enough to make this drive.

Such a nice quite place. Wonderful mead and very knowledgeable staff. They even have a "monthly members" club you can subscribe to and get you like every month or try new ones! Awesome place.

Tried my first Meade and loved it! This place has quite a few flavors of fermented honey- Meade to try and buy. Would recommend the blueberry flavored Meade.
