Very disappointed! They just reopened after being closed for a year. In my opinion, they opened 6 months too early. Course is in bad shape. They told us we had to stay on cart path, even though the fairways are weedy and overgrown. Not pleasant in Texas heat/humidity walking all the way across fairways. Also, to be charged $55 on a weekday afternoon, with a course in that bad of shape, is just ridiculous. On the plus side: the layout of the course is decent and the location is convenient.

I love this course. I played it before and after the renovation and loved both. Cy Chapa in the pro shop is one of the coolest guys you will ever meet. As for the course, every time I play, it is in great shape. I wish I could play more but the guys I play with dont live in New Braunfels and dont have a Players Card.

This is my favorite course to play right now. Its maintained better than your average muni and can be played rather quickly. Service is great and Ill keep making the drive from San Antonio as much as I can to play.

Greens were fast a rolled true. Its obvious the multi-million dollar renavations were needed and completed with class. Fun track, enough trouble to keep your attention. Ill return for another round.
