We were just here for one night for skiing but Im not sure Ill go back, Overall the room was nice as we were told they had been recently remodeled. The problem was the entire experience. This hotel is owned by Ski Liberty now. We showed up on a Sunday afternoon and could not park anywhere near our hotel due to a Bridal Faire (Their speling) No one told us you needed to check in at the main Ski Liberty hotel so we wasted time parking illegally and walking around the hotel looking for the desk. The staff at the registration desl (once we found it) were nice and attentive. Im not a skiier so I was there to watch football games while the wife spent the day skiiing. Almost nowhere to watch the games except the room which I didnt want to do. I wanted a lounge. I found a decent TV in the Tavern at the Green but to my surprise whoever has this room (billiards) has control of the TV. The room had a lot of kids in there watching cartoons. Fortunately an employee was able to get the kids to agree to change to football. The food here was just ok. The noise level in our room was pretty loud at times. We had a very loud family of kids next to us that thought nothing of being loud. Overall it felt like this hotel and Ski Liberty is trying to be truly called a resort but they have a ways to go.

We are from this area, and we always loved going to the Tavern on the Green. They had good food and good prices, but things have changed. Today we went there for dinner, and nothing has changed except the pricing. Liberty mountain resort purchased the golf course recently and the menu pricing went through the roof like you would expect from a resort. If you like paying for over priced food, then this is the place for you! Here is what we oredered. 2 grilled cheese ( that had to go back because they were not melted at all)-philly cheese steak sub-wings-hamburger-3 ice tea- motzerella sticks---$70.00!! I wont be back there again.. Just one less place to eat in the Fairfield area.

Review of the course only. Enjoyed my round here, the course was well kept and very green! There is a nice mix of easier and more challenging holes, nothing that will blow you away when it comes to course design but that is typical for an Ed Ault design. This course is consistent with other courses of his that Ive played. It is playable for many different handicaps and games which is a plus. The 9th is probably the best hole on the course, it is a dogleg right par 5 with water in play. Flower beds throughout the course add to the look. The course is convenient to Gettysburg and worth playing!

I had the pleasure of playing a round at this course, and found it in great shape. It was both forgiving and challenging. The only knock was that the rental clubs I used were from 12 different manufacturers. Would definitely play again.

Nice course. The slope rating seems a little high, as it is a very straightforward and wide open course. There are plenty of long par 4s. The greens and fairways were in very nice shape. The scenery is very nice.

Awesome course! I play a couple times a month on a golf league. Also our annual golf tournament is held there, couldnt ask for a lovelier course to accumulate us from start to finish....meal included.
