Tee Time Golf Pass Users Beware: Piney Apple advertises the following "deal" in the book. "One free play with one paid M-Th after 10am; Fri, weekends and holidays after 1pm. Unlimited. Offer based on regular rates only. Cash only." I went there today (Sunday), after 1:00 with the expectation of getting a free round with one paid. I presented my book, they initialed it and charged me $23. My friend, who was my paid partner to get the deal, does not have tee time book. He was charged $25. I was told $23 is the manadatory cart fee on the weekend. I questioned the resulting $2 greens fee, and was met with nothing more than a laugh. This is at best false advertisement, and bordering on lying. This was not a "free play with one paid" Although I enjoyed my round today, I will never be returning and can not recommend this course due to this deceptive advertising, and outright lies. I have contacted the course to make sure this deal is honored appropriately for others, and will update this review if/when I hear back from them. *UPDATE: I have received an explanation from the course. Long story short, after some voodoo math they arrive at a cost of $23 each for you and your partner. Nowhere close to the "free play with one paid" that they advertise.

After playing a couple of courses in the area in late January and early February, this was the nicest course I have come across. It feels very homey, the family business shows in an absolutely positive way. The course condition was phenomenal, it seemed that the greens were even rolled! The price was cheap which is nice for a college student especially. This course makes a very strong case for the best public course in the area. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area.

THIS COURSE IS ALWAYS AT LEAST A 9/10. THE PRICES ARE ABSOLUTELY UNBEATABLE, CHEAPEST IN THE AREA. COURSE QUALITY IS ALWAYS GREAT. AMAZING NATURAL SCENERY AS WELL. SMALL BUSINESS TYPE OF STAFF EXPERIENCE, OWNERS ARE VERY POLITE AND CONSIDERATE.

Course is poorly marked...hard to determine where the next tee or the next hole is. Fairways were rough, like cow pastures. Greens werent bad.

The course was in great shape. The greens were very nice also. Couldnt ask for better scenery! $28 after 1pm, cant beat it.

Best greens. Small family operated course dont let the greens fool you. Fabulous course with apples during the fall.
