My mom just lost use of her car and was sitting at home feeling closed in. I got her signed up for the Trimet Senior Lift Bus (which is another great asset for seniors), then took her to check out the Elsie Stuhr Senior Center. This place is amazing. They offer numerous wonderful classes and trips. They have a great exercise facility will all of the latest equipment and a game room with card tables, pool table and even a ping pong table. They offer lunch Monday through Friday, in collaboration with Loaves and Fishes. My mother is taking an exercise class two days a week and a stained glass window class one day a week. The plays bingo there on Mondays and has lunch there on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Shes also take one or two of the day trips they offer. This place had definitely a godsend for my mother and myself.

This modern, comfortable, clean, well staffed center is part of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation facilities. There are more classes for arts, crafts, hobbies, exercises, dancing, pool, poker than can be listed here including hot meals and the very best fitness equipment center around. So far, I only use the fitness center at the Elsie Stuhr Center. I am on the younger end of the age range and determined to keep myself fit and well. I really love the facility. It is welcoming and clean. I am constantly impressed by the number of activities I see going on, by the beautiful works of art on the walls, done by members. This is a beautiful and valuable resource.

Its nice that there is a place for the mrdd community to gather and do activies. however, when dealing with the front desk people MAKE DAMN SURE YOU GET CORRECT CHANGE. One lady handling the cash refused to give back correct change out of my clients money and instead insinuated that we were trying to scam them. Minus 2 stars for poor staff.

This is an amazing center for seniors. I take my mom and dad there and Im blessed that there is such center for activities for the age. They offer very useful classes and open gym for exercises. Also there is bunch of social activities, food and planned trips for seniors. Highly recommended.

Really great place for seniors. I am not a senior but my car broke down and wow everyone there was so helpful. I lived by this place for over a year and never knew how nice the people here are. I say I u have parents that simply are looking for activities tale them here.
