Been coming here for lotsa years. Good place to train, hike, mtn bike, trail jog, etc. Most people are fairly friendly, be aware, SOME of the equine folks can be elitist snobs at times riding and ruining trails they are prohibited from and posting graffiti about DNR rules of the road here at the county park, which is not DNR land. The county has its own, similar, rules. Other than that, great place for younger, older families, with or without canines. The kiosk maps need some updating, but are adequate for the casual hiker. Lots of easy trails, (big wheeled stroller compatible) and a few challenging trails as well. Only one good look out spot, towards the center of the park. There is a beach at the end of the river trail, with round river rock and gravel, one small sandy area. Nice in the summer. Cant really access it in winter or spring when the river is flowing high. On numerically odd years, you can see the salmon spawning from the beach. Walking the trails during the fall during the color change is a great place to take your significant other, if you like that sort of thing. There is a lower entrance/parking area off of Tester Rd. which is close to the old gravel pit in the park. There is a old shovel, (think steam shovel but diesel) located there as well. Lots of side trails, not on the maps, for mtn bikes and pedestrians, if the horse folks havent ruined them, that can be fun to explore. Parking on nice weekends is VERY crowded, but No parking pass required. Car break-ins do happen on rare occasions, but my experience has been, they are smash and grab types. If they see nothing, they wont take nothing. Pretty standard for ANY parking area. Overall, a good place thats close in.

A short drive from Snohomish or Monroe, Lord Hill Park is a fantastic place to hike with your family, friends, and furry companion, or ride the trails on horseback or mountain bike. The lush canopy of firs and deciduous trees keeps you cool on those hot afternoons. There are an assortment of trails to choose from, making every time you visit the park a new experience. The quiet atmosphere and natural beauty make this place on the top on my list to recharge my body and mind.

Quite a few hills, wide paths, and only a few people. The parking lot was full when we got there but there are so many options for trail routes that we only crossed a dozen or so parties during our three hour hike. Some of the smaller trails are not marked and we did get turned around on our way to the river, but it was our first time. I would recommend using Google Maps in terrain mode if you come to a junction and are unsure where to go, most of the trails show up.

Beautiful park with a lot of trails to choose from. The park is set up for hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. Lots of intermittent streams across trails can make it a muddy trip, but then again, was it really a good hike if you dont go home with your boots covered in mud? I liked the name of one trails in particular, "Ear Therapy," which starts/ends in a peaceful field with a pond created by a beaver dam and a stream under a bridge.

This is a really cool hidden gem. I found it just looking at Google Maps for a place to hike. I did some research and found out that the paths were big and used for horses. So, I figured my family, our SUV-sized stroller, and I would fit nicely. The trails meander at a comfortable, rolling pace. I could easily hike here for hours. People are able to spread out quite a bit, so its fairly quiet, even when it appears to be busy.

We got lost ! Only go here if you plan to spend all day because its miles long just to go the shortest trail and lots of up and down. Beautiful scenery but some weird people. At one point we ran into a guy taking pictures of a naked girl wrapped up in a blanket ! My kids were asking questions!

This is probably my favorite location in the whole world. I have spend a lot of time exploring these trails and it always amazes me that still after 10 years Im still finding new side trails to explore. I would highly suggest spending time up here and get your nature therapy :)

A nice park for horseback riding and easy mountain biking but also has several trails for very casual and easy half-day hiking. During my visit I saw a Douglas Squirrel. Fairly limited parking and no picnic, field, or play areas. Trailhead restroom at parking area.

Returned to my car last night to find the windshield and drivers door deeply etched in a scabbily pattern. Very difficult to drive back home and the glass has to be repaired. I submitted a police report but I suggest not driving an expensive car to that park.

Great hiking but I wouldnt recommend biking. Very steep hills up and down. If you have a disk breaking system and granny gears you might do fine. Also if youre under 40 years old might help too. Ill just do hiking from here on out on this.

Great park with lots of trails for hiking, mountain bike riding and equestrian activities. As the name suggests, the park is built on the hill, so there is a bit of terrain to deal with, but nothing more than you would expect at a local park.

Theyve done great work on the trails here recently, adding some new singletrack mountain bike trails. The best part is that most of the good mountain bike trails are closed to equestrians, so it cuts down on erosion quite a bit.

We came here for the first time, I brought my 7yr old nice. My only complaint is we came in the north entrance and the bathroom (porta-potti) was over full...veru bad!!!! But we had to go, and didnt want to go on the woods!!

Although tucked away its easily accessible and a great park. Multiple choices in trail lengths make this park a make-your-own experience. Trails can get a bit muddy in the wet months but dont let this keep you away.

Great hiking spot, I love getting up here and exporting the park its such a peaceful place to go. The trails are well maintained and everyone seems to be happy to be out in nature, that is if you run into anyone.

Well, we just keep going back, and back and back. What a serene, low-traffic forest hike. Easy wide trails, minimal hills, easy access, fascinating flora. A great place to regain a level head and healthy heart.

Consider leaving your car windows down... might save you some broken glass. (The morons who broke into my car didnt even know they could access the trunk from the back seat now that they had broken in.)

Trails galore in this 11 mile almost spider Web of trails. Good place to get outside anytime of year. Mostly hiking under tree branches so shady in the hot summer or protection from light rain

Great mountain bike, horse, and hiking trails. Many scenic ponds. All three types of users coexist very well. My favorite place to mountain bike. Trails are well maintained by volunteers.

Big party with lots of trails to explore. Walk, run, bike, or ride horses here with everything from wide easy trails to torturous bike tracks. My go to place for trail running.
