I would give it less than one star if I could. The campsite was noisy, and full of drunk people (NO alcohol is supposed to be allowed according to the county laws). Quiet time was at ten pm. However, there was NO camp host anywhere i could ever find them. The first day someone else was parked in my site. I tried to locate the camp host, but they were nowhere to be found. I called the office. They returned my call the next day. The person had left. I moved in to my space. The next night I spent my night listening to a group of loud people around an open fire, not in a fire pit fire. They had built a fire on the ground next to my camp site. Open fires are against the park rules, however since there is apparently no host, you can just do whatever you want. This is the most poorly managed campground i have ever been in, and as a guy who travels constantly in his RV, i can assure you Im not exaggerating. I dont know where else there is to stay in Monroe WA, but I would happily pay double to not be somewhere like this. $25 is not cheap enough. There is wall mart parking lots nicer than this park.

Chances are I will never return. Went tonight thinking it was open until 11pm because it said 11 on web site. Get there at 6:30 to find out they shut it down at 7pm on memorial day. So I scramble to make the most of 30 min for my two boys. They wanted to ride the kiddie airplane ride. Go to the ticket counter ask they guy how many tickets I need for each child buy the tickets and head over to the airplane ride. The guy working the ride tells me my kids cant get on the ride unless there is more people in line for the ride, mind you, its 6:45 most of the crowd has left. I was pissed. I go back to the ticket counter, explain the situation and they were as upset as I was. The radio the guy in charge of all the Mexicans operating the rides , he hears what has happened and says thats not right, walks over to the ride operator and tells him to let us on and apologizes for the inconvenience. The whole thing left me pissed off. Now I plan to spend my money at the Puyallup fair.

My wife and I stayed at the RV Park for a week from Saturday May 29th 2016 until the following Saturday for a dog show. We could not get out of there fast enough (we reserved and paid for two more nights but decided a rest stop would be more pleasant than their campground). Their website says they have racing on Saturdays so it may be loud... In reality it is every day, and by loud they should let you know its so loud you cant watch tv inside your RV. The cars start up around 7am and are going all day until 10pm. Several nights there were people drunk riding motorbikes around the RV Park until 3AM... I complained, same thing the next night. My advice, stay at the Walmart a half mile up the road, its cleaner and free. We talked to other visitors staying in the RV park that were at the dog show and they had the same experience.... Steer clear of this place, Find another park.

I have stayed at this campground one weekend every year for Formula Drift the past 4 years and never have any problems, friendly campground staff but this year there were these Monroe SUVs with these blue and red lights being very obnoxious. Every hour at night they would drive through kicking up dust, evading paying campers privacy and even at one point used a PA speaker on their vehicle to threatening to detain campers if they didnt go to sleep. Earlier in the afternoon they made us pour out our refreshing cold beverages that we purchased with our hard earned, tax deducted pay checks. Im not sure if it was a gang of some sort that caused all of that authoritarian style rukus but they sure killed the mood of hundreds of innocent campers. One of my favorite campgrounds! Will always recommend to family and friends!

I have gone to this fair forever and now I get to take my kids! This year we went on opening day and we had a lot of fun. There are always lots of food options, whatever youre in the mood for its probably here somewhere. For me I have to leave with a bakers dozen of scones. I cannot leave without them! This year I noticed a big effort to sort waste (landfill, recyclables, and compost). Free drinking water was available as well! Overall the fairgrounds were the cleanest I have ever seen them. Overall youve got to make it to this fair at some point in your life. Check the calendar theres always different things on different days.

Website does not give details of parking charges, so Here it is. $10 for parking. Overall experience, not so bad but, the first ride was a bad experience. We tried to take roller coaster ride. Stood in line for half an hour. It was declared out-of order. As our tickets were scanned, we waited for them to undo the scan & get refund. Many left without refund and perhaps lost money. We waited. As they had no means of undoing scan, they gave complementary passes which in a way refunded the ticket amount.

This year was our familys first trip to this fair. We had an enjoyable time seeing all the animals and exhibits. I had the impression that there were more food options here then at Spokane, but was generally smaller then the Puyallup. The fair scones were a treat, especially as part of the strawberry shortcake, ice cream was delicious on a hot day, and the shared elephant ear was unanimously the best we have had.

Fun and exciting for all during any event weve attended or been in here. The grounds keepers keep it clean and inviting, and the employees are a pleasure to talk to. By only beef is the price of the Fair, ride tickets, and games. It gets harder and harder to be able to do anything more then a couple rides for each child. We no longer play the games, as they are $5+ now. That really adds up with 3 kids!

I used to love this fair as a child. The rides and food are way more expensive before. "Giant" corn dogs are now just a Foster Farms frozen corn dog, for $7. The vendor building is mostly ads for setting up appointments for coming to your hours later on to sell you things instead of selling fun items there. The nightly events arent that fun anymore. Overall, it just isnt what it used to be.

The fairground has some really nice buildings for events and activities. Ive recently been for a quilt show and an antique show. The parking is confusing because it is not always well signed as to where to go to get the closet to the event you are attending. That is not the fairgrounds fault, its the fault of the the event planners. Easy to get to and not as far from I-5 as you think.

The layout is fine and seating is spacious. The biggest issue is the parking situation. After the event you have all rows of parking funneling into one lane then waiting at a stop sign to turn onto the main road. The main road is quite busy so somone trying to turn left will hold up the entire parking lot full of hundreds of angry people trying to get out of there.
