HORRIBLE. I have played here several times being that it is just up the road from my office. The staff is always unfriendly. I use "unfriendly" because I dont feel that they are rude, but they arent welcoming most times I am there. Poor customer service. I arrived at 4:15pm to try to get out as a single and the guy in the pro shop told me that there was a league going out and I couldnt get on til 6pm. That was fine with me so I grabbed some range balls and practiced for awhile until I could get on. Was matched up with two other guys that were a joy to play with. We were behind a fouresome that was terrible. Couldnt hit a shot to save their lives. Now, Im not the greatest player in the world, and I have had a case of the "S" word a time or two, but these guys took FOREVER to hit each shot, giving each other lessons, taking 5 minutes to find their ball in the woods, all standing together as each person hit their shot rather than going to their ball and playing ready golf, and they waited til the group ahead of them cleared at least 300 yds before they teed off on the first few holes (only the first few because they eventually fell so far behind they didnt have to wait) when they would have been lucky to hit a drive over 150 yds. The reason I am placing the blame on the golf course for these guys is that the marshall drove by twice and said nothing to them. 1st time they were a hole behind, the 2nd time a hole and a half. It took over 3 hours to get through 8 holes. Ill place the blame on that part on me, because I was dumb enough to stick around. I shoulda walked off after the 4th. When you tee off at 6pm, it should be understood that we arent out there to set the course record, we are out there to get in as many holes as we can. Pick up and move on! This course is poorly managed. The greens were horrible, I know the weather hasnt been great but Ive played a few other courses in the area that were in much better shape. The pro shop staff and marshalls are a joke. Yes, it is a muni and not a country club, but the Seattle courses all have better staff and I believe they are all managed by the same company. Maybe the Eastside guys fly under the radar of management. It really is a shame because the course is in a great location for me and there are some fun holes out there, but I wont be going back unless I am in the first group of the day.

This was once of the worst golf experiences Ive had in some time. First of all, 3 1/2 hours to complete 9 holes. REALLY !?!?!? The course has a "Marshall" that rolls around on a cart, but does nothing to keep the pace of play moving. The "Starter" they have sitting at a card table on the first Green is strictly for appearances and adds nothing to the course or the over all experience. The Fairways were not well maintained. Several of the Tee boxes were in need of attention. For being a part of the Premier Golf Group, the management at Bellevuew should be embarrassed for the way their course moves and its overall condition, but Im sure they wont care about one reviewers opinion. Also, they offer a "10 dollar off" Voucher for completing their online survey.. I took up my time filling out their survey to get the voucher and after speaking to a course employee on the phone and specifically asking about the application of the $10 voucher to the Twilight price and being told that, "Yes, the full voucher amount applies", my group were very dissapointed to learn when we arrived at the course that the full amount would not be applied. The personnell at the course at the time told us only $5 of the voucher would apply. I think they saw some younger golfers and figured they could simply do what they wanted. Their reason was that they were going thru some changes. Apparently their staff can say whatever they want on the phone and dont have to back it up. I have been sharing my tale with everyone I know that golfs from the Offices that I work at in Issaquah. I want to make sure none of them have to experience anything that my group went thru.

The worst golf experience I have ever had. Because me and my friends are a little slower than others the staff are constantly telling us to hurry up, people were yelling at us from their golf carts and being completely rude and inconsiderate. We then stopped to eat and they said that we couldnt stop, they then could not figure out how to scan a credit card and forced me to use the ATM to get cash and pay for my food. They then forced us to play off the first tee, we had to play the front nine again. I dont know where they found the people to work here, but they operate much like the DMV. They are the worst people I have ever met, they dont even listen to what we have to say they just accuse us of things we didnt do. I will never golf here again even if that means I will never golf again. It seems as though my life has been falling apart recently and golf was my only release, the only way I could go on. And these horrible people have taken the only thing I enjoy in my life, away from me. Of I could I would rate this a zero but google doesnt allow me to do that

Since theres no place to rate instructors, Ill do it here. Matt Anderson is the man. You will not find an instructor (at even close to this price) with his knowledge an ability. He is a golf genius. Video? Who needs video when he can take one look at your swing and start you on a path to better golf. I saw Matt a few years back and he did quickly get me shooting both straight and long. My bad for not going back as my game deteriorated. I was about to give up on the game as my shots had gotten so bad. I decided as a last ditch effort to go see Matt again. Ten balls. That is what it took Matt to get me hitting my 8-iron 155-160 yards straight. Just ten balls. I still cant believe it. Bellevue Muni is not really convenient for me, but its clear that I need to make a visit to Matt every few weeks to get me back on my game. I highly recommend Matt Anderson.

Bellevue is a course that is almost always in good shape. Ive played it at least 3 dozen times while I was working there in college and the greens are normally very healthy, but not particularly fast. Ive never ran into prroblems with the fairways or rough; they are normally solid. The driving range is one of the best around, as long as you factor in the mats instead of actual grass to hit off of. Its kinda pricey for a muni, but it is in Bellevue, so what do you expect? The big issue is the pace of play. I know that the place gets heavy traffic, but the persistent backup from 6-9 is just awful. The long, uphill par 3 8th just kills the pace of play there. Otherwise, its a good place to play a casual round. I was also always pleased with the food and drink selection, so theres that too.
