My first visit to Cunningham Creek Winery was a very enjoyable experience. Friendly staff, that immediately greet you as you enter. Elegant spacious tasting room with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Having worked in local wineries, and traveling the wine circuit for over twenty years, these first impressions immediately make you feel relaxed and ready for a enjoyable tasting. I was extremely surprised how well structured and fruit forward the red wines were, keeping in mind, the vines are young, and this is the first release for Cunningham Creek. My favorite of the Reds was the Meritage, event though I bought a bottle of Merlot and sat with a friend and enjoyed the winery hospitality. The Cab. Franc was rich with pepper, cherry and a nice berry finish. The Viognier and Pinot Gris were also quite good. I suggest you make this a stop on your wine adventures as will I.

Wonderful venue -- a hidden gem. My wife and I visited Cunningham because they were near us at Lake Monticello and because the winery just opened last summer. We were surprised at how good the wines were, both whites and reds. They were better than most of established wineries in the area. As a result of the great experience and wines, we joined their wine club on the spot and bought several bottles. Highly recommend you visit them before they become "discovered" as one of the top wineries and you have to wait for tastings.

The tasting room has only been open a month, but they really know what they are doing! Sarah, one of the owners, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the wines. They also have an adorable farm store attached with fresh produce, cheese, spreads, and chocolate. They do live music and food trucks on Friday nights and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend a visit!

Cunningham Creek Winery is an excellent little gem. It doesnt look like much from the outside, but it is one of the best wineries I have seen. They have excellent prices, tasty foods, incredible strawberry jams and friendly employees that seem to enjoy their jobs very much. I look forward to my next visit and hope you take the chance to visit this place yourself.
