We encountered one of their brochures at an earlier stop and since we were traveling right through Front Royal, we decided to stop in. When we got to the front steps, we read that the didnt open until 4 pm (it was 2 pm). We thought wed have to settle for a photo of the sign, but Gary opened the door and explained that he couldnt serve us any beer, but that he would be glad to show us around. We got a lengthy, private tour of each of the rooms and learned much about breweries in Virginia. Riding motorcycles, we werent going to drink any beer anyway, but the list of what was on tap looked pretty interesting. Gary gave us some "parting gifts" and we bought a couple of T-shirts. Another one of those unexpected interesting adventures one comes across from time-to-time.

I stumbled across this place on their grand opening, while walking downtown. What a pleasant surprise! If you are a beer enthusiast you will appreciate the attention to detail and the unique atmosphere. If you are a history buff, you will find interesting facts about local ale history. This little spot is truly "one of a kind", and the selection of local craft brews was excellent. The museum "volunteers " were friendly and knowledgeable. I hope the concept is received well and wish them success with their launch.

My husband, Bill, and I visited a few days ago just after the museum opened for the day. Had a great time discussing Front Royal and Virginia beer history. Loved all the beer era rooms in the museum. Cant wait to come back when the Prohibition era room is complete. Great beer selection! And I was more than happy to purchase a shirt and wear it proudly the next day at a wine event in Dayton.

Walked in and was excited at first. I quickly realized that the people who work there arent friendly, and didnt even get a hello. I stood in front of the micro sized bar for 15 minutes. The entire time the bartender was obviously drunk and talking to his friends. I am an avid micro brew drinker, and will never even look in the direction of this place again.

Knowledgeable staff and a growing collection of historic beer paraphernalia. Extravagant beers on tap of endless variety, minus the typical light brews youd find at a gas station (but thats not something you should complain about here) Check this place out if youre in town after 4PM!

Tiny little hole in the wall, that will teach you the history of beer in Virginia. Small but good selection of local Virginia beers and a nice bar tender. You will be required to purchase you own glass, but thats ok, remember to bring it back for refills.

Beer lovers put this on your radar. History of brewing in the states with a Virginia emphasis. Not to be missed. .. a room devoted to TV ads from the 50s. And you get to drink VA craft beer. Non Profit too. Cheers to these folks
