Went there on a Wednesday. Pretty empty. Few people but we didnt seem welcomed. We were trying to have a good time on our last night in TX. They have plenty of rules. The bouncer came up to say if youre not dancing get off the dance floor. Then dont drink here neither. Cant take your bottle of water outside....Only one or two couples were dancing. Will not come back. Completely different treatment at other saloons/clubs. We found San Antonio to have the friendless people and welcoming except here on our last night unfortunately.

Im not a fan of two stepping or even much country music, but even I had a good time here. I was reluctant to go due to horrible experiences at other country bars/dance halls. Theres some variety in music (maybe 15% non country) but even that isnt bad for a Saturday night. Literally every staff member I came across, from the security at the door to the bartenders, were funny and friendly. Thats also a first for any type of club-type place Ive been. If I get a hankering to take the lady two stepping, this place will be it.

As an under 21, I appreciate there being a few places 5that will let me come, dance, and play pool, but the damce floor is a little small and the billiards equipment could use a revamp. Ive never 2-stepped to hip hop b4. That sets this place back for me. I was served wine that had turned bad...bartender didnt make right on it. Mixture on age of crowd, 20s thru 70s. Circular dance floor, so 1 couple going the wrong way messes every one up. Not overly impressed.

Wow, these reviews are ridiculous. It is a country dance BAR, not a dance hall. If you dont like country music or two-stepping, then this probably isnt the place for you. This place is really fun for those who enjoy country music, two-stepping and having some drinks.

Went on a Wednesday evening for their "Pickin on the Patio" acoustic concert series with Gabe Garcia & Bri Bagwell, it was great - very relaxed and intimate, perfect place to go chill with friends, listen to music & enjoy great drink specials!

This place is a lot of fun! Its always been a very friendly laid back crowd here and everybody has a good time. It is DJ only, no live bands so thats kindof a bummer. The dance floor is very nice. The employees here are very professional.

Fully staffed bars and polite doorman make it easy to have a good time here as long as you dont get out of line. People tend to drink like theyre 17 at a hotel party, too much too fast which is why the bouncing staff is so important here

The DJ was extremely rude. My boyfriend went up to him, just to simply ask if he could request a song. For whatever reason the DJ, told my him to "get the F out of my face." The behavior was completely out of line and unacceptable.

One of my favorite places to go out to in San Antonio. The crowd tends to be 21 to about 30 but it is a 18 and up bar. I worked as door staff there one summer and had a blast. Great people to work with.

It is way to hot. The girls dress like hookers. Some actually wore their dresses so short you could see their underwear or lack of underwear. It does not have a real country dance hall feel to it.
