The "submarine" in the creek is gone ☹️ but it was a tetanus hazard so I guess its for the best. Still any kid who hung out in that creek between 1996-2015 hung out at the submarine so its sad to see it go. This is a great park other than the submarine though, its a great place to bring your kids for a little "nature walk." The pavilion next to the pond is a pretty good place but it doesnt beat the picnic spot at hoblitzelle. Also the soccer fields are some of the best in Plano and there is a maintained cricket green so its a wonderful park to live close to.

Amazing place to go and relax with the kids. We moved to this area from California and found that the weather doesnt allow the kids for outdoor play so much. This area also seem very new with less entertainment places for kids. We found this park in 2-3 weeks of our move while exploring options. Its almost heaven here. You can see some wildlife, lake with a fountain, walking trail, game fields, picnic spots, kids playground and lots of parking. The park is huge. For now, its a hop for the kids.

Russell Creek Park in Plano, TX is a very good park for kids. It is big enough to spend the whole afternoon or morning with kids and adults. Lot to explore and be part of nature. You can go there and feed the Duck or fish and spend a lazy afternoon. Or have a bike and enjoy the sound of wind (without Earphone plugged into your ear). You can jog around of play Vollyball, basketball whatever is your interest. Go check in out.

Great park for sport activities, family picnic, playground for children, and feeding the ducks. There are many sport activities you can gave, such as volleyball, football, soccer, basketball and cricket. Sometimes I see people doing Yoga and meditation and it is nice to see people relaxing. You can even rent the area next to the small lake with the tables, BBQ, and electricity and have a party with your friends.

Great open park for getting a great jog. I was able to train for a 5K using the park and trails in the immediate surrounding area. Very nice scenery however it can become very congested when sports tournaments are taking place. As a side note the parking lot is pretty secure as I saw the park authorities circle my car about three times the last time I was training there.

Nice park. Majority of the crowd is asian. A lake with a walking path around. 2 sand volleyball courts that also are used by small kids as sand play area. A basket ball court and kids slides all in one place. The park has many cricket fields, baseball play area along with many other facilities. Its a huge park.

Large park with lots of room to do whatever like practice disc golf. I wish there was a disc golf course here, but its mainly soccer and football fields with a concrete trail flowing through park. Water fountains not working, that was a bummer.

Poorly planned sports park. Not handicapped accessible unless you have a motorized scooter. Bring a wagon to haul equipment. The parking is a long way from anything. The seating has no backs so you will want to bring your own chairs.

Great palce has a nice pond area for a walk. Has a play area and 2 beach basket ball areas with one regular basket ball court and lots of open space for kite flying. Also has a party area with grills for small parties.

Excellent huge park, cricket pitches, soccer fields, baseball, volleyball courts, kid playground area, pavilion for picnics, lots of benches and open areas, and a little pond with a walking trail around it!

We have played soccer here a several times. There is cover for shade over the spectator area, not the players. The fields are in good shape, parking is the worst part of this park. There is never enough.

Love this park. It is well maintained. It has many soccer fields and seven cricket fields. The lake is also nice for a walk. The walking trails are nice. Also near the lake there is a small kids play area.

This is probably one of the best kept parks in Plano. Lot of soccer fields ( I counted 18), a big kids play area and a beautiful lake make this a preferred spot for picnic goers and fitness enthusiasts

This is a huge park. Apart from the soccer grounds, this park has beach volleyball courts, baseball courts, kids play area and 7 cricket grounds. All the grounds are very well maintained.

Love going here for a good run. Always a lot of people out in the trail, there are bathrooms and lots if parking. It does get a little crowded when there are soccer tournaments going on.

Its a pleasant park with loads of people and walking trails. If youre into Pokemon, there are several stops and gyms to keep you busy. All it needs is a small cafe and it would be ideal

Love my morning runs at this trail. Its peaceful and quiet. My kids also enjoy coming here to play and to feed the ducks. On weekends, its very busy due to soccer. Parking is plenty.

Being an elderly man, I used the track around the lake with my family or solo sometimes for walking. During that time I enjoyed the birds and the plantation around lake.

Massive park maintained by the city of Plano. Lots of cricket pitches, couple sand volleyball and basketball courts, a nice pond, playground, a trail and a lot more!

Nice community park with a kids playground . Theres slides. Swing and even volleyball field and a basketball court. The trail around the lake is very nice.

I had a lacrosse tournament here and all of the fields were really awesome. I had a great time playing here and will look forward to playing here again.

Lots of things are there to do at this park. There is even cricket that you can play here. There is lots of place to play and have fun. I love this park!

This is a great place to go for a run. The large loop is a little more than 2 miles around. They all have a great playground area for the kids.

Beautiful place but VERY crowded in the evenings. I always feel safe on walk/runs, but its VERY overcrowded for walks with my dog.

Nice park, big Lake, play ground... My children love to feed the animals, especially the ducks. Is very quiet. We love it!!!.
