Dallas hidden gem! Ive driven over the newly constructed Sylvan bridge and admired the view of downtown from the car, but little did I know tucked away under that bridge is a parking lot that leads to a small lake, paved trails, benches, and picnic tables! The park may not have as many amenities as you would expect from your typical modern Dallas park, but the AMAZING views and serene environment completely make up for it. The few times Ive been to the park at various times of day, there has been no more than 4 or 5 people. So peaceful! The paved trails seem to go on forever as I have yet to completely cover all ground. Perfect for biking or a run. Oh, and did I mention the views from this place?! Literally the best in Dallas. If you dont want to deal with crowds and want to be one with nature, Id say skip the Continental avenue pedestrian bridge & Katy Trail and come here instead.

This is a little gem in the midst of urban sprawl. A small pond with many types of birds. Access to the concrete pathway that circles the pond and goes some miles around the Trinity River/flood plain. There are also some mini bird sanctuaries tucked into little waterways while walking west from the pond. The levee is accessible with a quick uphill walk, from here there are miles of gravel walkway in which you have great views of the skyline and the sunset. Certainly, one of the prettiest areas in the city.

There were beautiful views. And it was very clean. The playground equipment they had was fun. I do wish there were a lot more table and more playground equipment, though. It mostly felt like a wide trail with benches and a few fun things on the side rather than a cohesive park.

Awesome place to visit. There is a little bit of everything nearby for everyone. Restaurants within walking distance. Want to hike, ride or run trails.. check. Got some great pictures of the skyline and bridge. It was the most peaceful place I could find In the city.

Beautiful spot! We had found it by coincidence during our vacation 3 weeks ago and took a walk over the bridge with its playground, benches, chess tables and sunbeds. Youve got a great view of the Dallas Skyline from the other side of the bridge!

Wonderful views and an amazing view of the skyline. Bring water and snacks, and enjoy on cooler days, especially mornings. Not much shade, so prepare for that. Easy access to Trinity River and Trail. Highly recommended.

Great place for biking, walking. Enjoy beautiful Dallas skyline. The location was a bit confusing however, you have to go under the Sylvan Avenue bridge. It is a wonderful place with very nice views.

Nice place to hang out in the evening after hectic downtown tour. Just carry some water, food. As no food stalls nearby. You can find burger king and inbox at the other end of this pedestrian bridge.

Small park in the Dallas Trinity River bottoms. There is a direct connection off the top of the Sylvan Avenue bridge. Great walk ways for jogging, biking, cycling.
