One of our first parks on the south/west side of town. The park is older so the playground is not as clean as others around McKinney but I love that there is great walking areas and a safe parking lot. There is also a wonderful sized field to run, kick a soccer ball, or fly a kite. There is no bathroom but the park is not to far from Walmart and 7-11.

Decent perch fishing on worms in the early morning or late afternoon. Pond has a good bit of plant life that can snag hooks. A few pesky turtles and a water moccasin here and there. Over all a fun place to fish locally.

Fun for all ages.... The park is great for play activities but also the man-made creek has a good ecosystem for kids who love nature. (From turtles, crayfish, fish, frogs, to toads)

Lots of play options for children: playground, fishing pond, stream, basketball courts, fields, climbing trees. Run down but serviceable covered pavilion with picnic tables.

Small park and pond nestled in the middle of residential McKinney. Wish there were more parks like it!! Lmb can be hard to catch, but when they do... Hold on tight.

Great park, I wish it had lighting for its court and field however.
