If I could rate it 1/2 a star I would, the food was good. We really had a horrible experience here we ordered oysters since its an oyster bar but they didnt have any, we ordered two shrimp cocktails but got only one we asked for crackers and napkins we didnt have any. Then after 30 minutes got the other one asked for crackers and napkins but we didnt get that either. We ordered our dinner got our main course and finally got the crackers and napkins no silver ware. Asked her twice and then she brought them after we ate our fish with our hands the waitress said she had to wash them herself. We asked about our dinner salads which we never received either. The real kicker was when we asked to see a manager Terry didnt seem to care told us it was due to Good Friday that they were busy...the restaraunt was not even halfway full. As we were leaving we saw why Terry didnt care she was drinking Natrual Light at the bar! Very disappointed with our experience this place has so much potential if there was someone who cared about customers. I dont think napkins, silver ware and crackers are too much to ask for! Will never go again and do not recommend this place to anyone.

It was a weird experience. My husband and I wanted oysters but La Fours closed early on Sunday so we decided to come here. From their stained paper menus, we ordered a dozen oysters, a cup of jumbo, and a crawfish poboy. We received 6 oysters, "jumbo" soup, and shrimp poboy. We dont like complaining because we dont want anyone to spit in our food. The food tasted fine it just wasnt what we wanted. When it came to paying, the waitress simply told us our total so we dont know if we were overcharged or not. I recommend this place only if you are happy with getting half of what you want.

Visiting from Seattle, we always look for restaurants with a local flair. This place hit the spot perfectly. We were waited on quickly by a very friendly, personable waitress, sorry we did not get this red-haired, energy bunnys name. We could not decide (2 couples), so went with their sampler appetizer, cups of gumbo, and cheese burgers- we split the 1/2 lb. Burgers one per couple. One in our party is a gumbo connoisseur and thoroughly enjoyed their amazing homemade gumbo with chunks of shrimp and crab! Would definitely come back and recommend to others.

I ordered a pound of crablegs and was extremely disappointed. I was brought about 6 legs and 1 claw and it was over cooked so I was unable to get what little meat they had in them out. I used to frequent this place often and was in town visiting so I was excited to get some good food. Anyhow, I was unable to eat them so I paid my check and left. Maybe I am setting the bar too high but I would expect the establishment to take pride in what they are serving. I left extremely disappointed and unfortunately will not be eating there anymore.

First time at the restaurant, very quaint little place with a bar and food. The food was fried, zero grease, simply some of the best sea food ever. Atmosphere was homey and welcoming. Service was great very courteous with absolute knowledge of the menu. All the drinks were perfectly prepared. In my opinion an amazing place to eat and spend time looking at the Guadalupe River 5 stars for the experience and well make this place a new place to visit regularly.

Best seafood I have ever tasted, also have the best onion rings! Went there on a Thursday night, enjoyed a great seafood platter, plenty of TVs to watch games on. Saw the Spurs that night. Entertainment started a 9:30 with a DJ, placed got packed within minutes, looked like a college crowd. Stayed till about midnight, didnt want to leave but had to work the next day. Ill be there every thursday from now on. Waitresses are very friendly.

If there was a way to give negative stars I would. Sat for 15 mins after telling bartender I was going outside had to come up and ask if I was going to ever be served. Should of left but was hungry boy came up asked if I was ready even tho I just got a menu I said no he got a attitude so when I got up to leave passed the bar and he was bad talking me (i honestly didnt say 10 words to the guy) awful experience

It was an ok place. Had karaoke most of the night. It did not have the ingredients to make me a special drink that I requested. For a bar and grill it was kind of lame. No pool tables but id ave several TVs with various sports going. Did have a food menu but we werent even offered a food menu. Seated and never saw waitress again. Got up to get own drinks. Was not impressed for a first timer.

We believe they have the best steak in town - handcut Angus Ribeye with garlic butter on top. Awesome flavor! One major gripe is the single sliced fake cheese they serve on the baked potatoe. That keeps me from giving it 5 stars! Friendly servers and relaxed atmosphere. This is a place to go and have a relaxed dinner with friends and not for fast food service, but the food is worth the wait.

We have been driving up to this restaurant & bar from San Antonio many times in the last few months. We follow the Mark Monaco Band & were pleasantly surprised at how great the food & drinks were. The service was the best & it is always a fun time w/ Mark & his band & the crowd really gets into it. We will be there again tomorrow night to get our spring break started.

This place grows on you. Once you walk in, theres a Cheers kind of vibe. Everyone knows everyone! Being from Kerrville, this is one of the few retreats one can step out to for a cold one. Ive had the pleasure of trying their food and let me tell you that each time I dont regret it. Food is generous as well as affordable! Karaoke on Wednesday and Thursday nights!

Ordered boiled crawfish.... what came out was room temp, and the seasoning was just sprinkled on top. The one or 2 tails I ate were plain, and werent boiled in seasoned water. And the werent cooked anytime soon neither. MAIS CHER LET ME DONE TOLD YOU.... it was bad... shame to ruin crawfish like that. Otherwise the staff was friendly.

Great prices for the food. Always high quality! The boiled Cajun shrimp with homemade french fires are my fav. Also, this place knows how to make a pretty good dinner salad. They actually use romaine and freshly made dressings. Not stale old iceberg and bottled dressing like comparable restaurants.

Great restraunt and bar, the place has a wonderful, down home atmosphere and appeal. Only down side is the staff rotates a lot, u will hardly ever see the same waitstaff there twice, other than that thou, I love the food and music while Im there, and if u enjoy sports this is the place for u in kerr.

This is the place to go after a long days work. Great staff, great fresh food including seafood,. Best burger . Order the Guadalupe Burger with onion rings and wash it down with a Guinness Stout while sitting outside overlooking the river. Look for the alligator just off the bank. Its always there
