My friends and I wanted to see the production of 1984 at the theater. We bought 7 tickets together and reserved our particular seats (1 row with all of us next to each other) a month before the play. On the day of the play, we arrived barely 3 minutes past 8 oclock, the time on the ticket. Our lateness was actually resultant of not being able to find parking in the theaters lot. When we walked inside and went to retrieve our tickets, the woman at the ticket counter happily informed us that they already sold our tickets because we were late (by less than 5 minutes!). In fact, the play hadnt even started - the lights were on, people were chattering, and the theater was still not full. The woman said our only option was to sit in random seats that were unclaimed and found 3 seats together, 2 seats together, and 2 individual seats randomly on their own. We really wanted to see this play, so we acquiesced and sat in the random seats around the theater (NOT the ones we reserved AND paid for a month in advance), but after realizing how ridiculous the whole thing was, we all just got up and went somewhere else. Luckily they gave us a refund, but it ruined our plans for the whole night. There is no disclaimer on the ticket - I would HIGHLY suggest they add one to avoid disgruntled customers that wont return like us.

Showed up less than 5 minutes late for a play I bought reserved seats for a month ago. They told me theyd sold my seat to someone else - basically, theyd gotten twice the money for one seat and let someone take our paid-for, reserved seats because we were 3 minutes late. They told me I could sit in some random seat away from my friends, but after trying it, we all got frustrated and left. There was no statement on the ticket or emails saying they had this outlandish policy in place. Ive never experienced something like this and find it totally ridiculous.

I saw Insomnia Cafe last week produced by cone man running. The script was excellent and well suited for the space, all three actors were very good, high level of professionalism in the stage setting and how the actors interacted with it. The prices are beyond fair, but maybe the Thursday show is cheaper than the weekend shows because I feel like I should have paid more. The black box doesnt have a lot of seating but it does have what appears to be a full sound booth and lights. They were selling cheap wine by donation.

Surprisingly nice little place. Kitchen-like size. First rows are basically on the stage, which is tiny as well. Seats are just simple foldable chairs, but comfortable enough. Very intimate atmosphere. The play was Orwells 1984, and it was great performance and good interpretation. One star minus for toilets. Walked in on the guy with pants down, because lock wasnt working, and theres only one mens restroom. First time saw a queue to the mens place. Had to use other gender little quick. I cleaned up, girls, I swear :)

Friends and I wanted to check out this theater, so we bought tickets a month prior to the show. We showed up 3 mins late, but the show hadnt started. They told us they sold our seats and wed all have to be seperated. We took a refund. I had seen the Tempest at the Houston Ballet 2 weeks ago and they do not sell away anyones seats. Obvious different standards. In all, Im not upset over missing a play Id have to watch sitting on a lawn chair staggered on a metal bleachers.

Went for a nice night out with friends to enjoy a showing of "1984", instead were greeted with news that our tickets that were purchased a month in Advance that theyve been sold on account of us being 2 minutes late due to their lack of accountable parking with more cars parked in the neighborhood than the actual gravel-taught, weed-riddled excuse for a parking lot. Extremely dissapointed and will not be returning.

Great local community space for courageous theater. The intimate relationship with other audience members and the production/act company all brings a courageous connection for engagement and response. A very comfortable place for theater. If you want to "touch" the action, be there -- a very emotional connection. Live theater is needed. Dont forget to walk across for ice cream for intermission!

Bought 2 tickets a week in advance for my wife and I to see 1984. The show started at 8:00pm and we arrived at 8:02pm to be told that our seats had been sold because we were "late." The play had not even started yet! If this is the policy they need to have a disclaimer on the website. Then they tried to offer us seats a row apart from each other. I will not come here again.

The plays here are stellar and at the very least interesting. The venue itself is intimate and the spartan stage settings and props really emphasizes the performances; the characters have to deliver every time! The A/C is hit or miss so be prepared to be a little warm. There is an open bar (donation) but no food so go to Happy Fatz next door and eat before / after the play.

So far Ive seen two shows, and Im hooked. Its an inimate venue and its hard not to have great seats. Drinks are on a "donation" basis, but please, help them out and give a decent amount, because I want to continue seeing great shows here.

Wonderful, little theater. Id recommend a show and then a walk across the street for gelato (at Gelazzi) or down the street for a nice meal (at Cultivare) to complete an evening.

The current production of Silence! is worth checking out. Its a nice intimate theatre that always has wine and local beer (for a donation) before the show and during intermission.
