My husband and I are from the Dallas Area and didnt want to miss out on visiting a winery while we were in the Hill Country area. Helotes creek was such a great experience. The staff was so friendly and knew alot about what they do. We were able to sample which was great and we were really impressed by all of them. The peach and white chocolate are a must try! My husband thought he didnt like wine until we visited Helotes. Great place and a great experience!

Dont be turned away by the old reviews- this place was bought and relocated since August 2016. We happen to be in town for their 1 year anniversary, and after seeing the raving reviews on Facebook, made the drive from downtown SA. We second what everyone else has to say - passionate and helpful owners, good selection, great prices, and relaxing atmosphere. Wed come back anytime!

The winery is located in the quaint town of Helotes. Just outside 1604. This wine house is a perfect place to meet up with friends and share a bottle. The winery has a nice selection of wines at valued price. I do recommend you have a tasting. Gives one a chance to sample six of the house flavors.I brought home three bottles myself. Very happy with my selection

I have not visited this winery but, I had three bottles of their wine explode in my house. Apparently the wrong chemical was used in bottling during the 2011 Christmas season. If you have bottle purchased during this period....THROW THEM OUT! The owner offered to send me more wine but was really not nice about it. :(

I liked the outdoor relaxation area. I didnt get to stay here too long so I dont think my assessment is 100% fair. But I like the idea of a winery where you can go sit out back on a hammock or lawn chair and enjoy the wine you just purchased. Future reviews to come.

States open 12-6 today. Made a special trip to get wines for a party next Friday. Not open. Update times as needed. Only takes 2 minutes to make a change. I would have saved myself a trip.
