Fully expected to come here and have a great experience. Terrible service ruined that on this visit back in April. It cost me $5 to get in. I seated myself in the back area by the restrooms and bar. The table I sat at looked a little dirty (marks on the table top from where drinks were etc). After sitting I waited a couple minutes and a waitress approached me. She put a drink coaster on my table and just stared at me. I actually had to initiate the greeting with her saying Hello" and she responded in kind and then continued to stare at me. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, I asked her for a lunch menu and then she somewhat angrily replied "What do you want to drink?" I told her water with lemon which is what i drink at all restaurants. She brought me back the water with lemon and a food menu. She didnt say another word to me. I looked over the menu and expected her to return but she didnt. She stood up by the cashier register at the bar and seemed to just be hanging out. I gave her the benefit of the doubt..ie maybe she is doing some work but I waited and waited and waited and she never budged and she wasnt helping any other customers either. Finally, she disappeared from the room only to return a couple minutes later and seat herself at the middle of the bar and begin eating. I had been sitting here waiting for quite some time and had already decided that I wasnt going to tip her which would be the first time in 20+ years that I havent left a tip for someone. It was quite apparent that she had no intentions of coming back. So I left completely dissatisfied without having even placed a food order. This club is supposed to service high end customers but they cant even provide the most basic service much less exceptional service.

I was in town for business and wanted to kill a little time before heading to the airport. I had never been to this club before but the hotel concierge told me that they had the best food and the loveliest ladies. I came in on a Wednesday around 5pm and there were probably close to 20 girls working. There was plenty of diversity and quality all around. I ordered a steak, salad and baked potato with my glass of wine and proceeded to enjoy the scenery. I have a thing for the sexy librarian look and sure enough they had just what I needed. A petite redhead came out on the stage with the bun and glasses and proceeded to strip into a sex kitten. Amazing! I love them smart and beautiful and she had me hooked for the next couple of hours. The thing I really enjoyed about this club as that all of the ladies that approached me were courteous and classy. And beautiful of course. The ladies here are accustomed to being paid for their time as well as dances so if you enjoy conversation and just want a bit of companionship in a strange city, this place is made for you. You can pay them to simply sit and have dinner with you if you prefer. (In some ways, it reminded me of the hostess clubs in Japan). The music seemed geared towards an older crowd with plenty of hits from the 70s-80s and no rap/hip hop. You could see that reflected in the crowd as many of the patrons were in their forties and beyond. Also, the music was low enough that you could actually have a conversation. I have the distinct feeling that this is a clean club and that while the dances are very sensual, you wont get much more than that. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and avoid traffic on the way to the airport though. Ill come back when I am in town on business.

This is my first stop in Dallas moving forward. Everyone had a good to great attitude and the other customers were of all types. Dont get drunk as there are at least six cops on the street waiting. From the outside it looks like a huge log cabin and after paying $10 to get in- the main stage is huge, smells good and had at least eight girls ready to go with two other girls dancing on stages. I walked through and the dining/ lounge area in the back is filled with another six girls with another dancing on a tiny stage. A girl came to me and sat with me in a booth. A server came and she was just awesome and fast. I had the filet mignon. Every day there is a deal to eat good food, under $20. The dancer said it cost $275 to go into the Champaign room and pay $400 or more per hour for a girl. The other option is go upstairs to the VIP room and pay $20 per dance but have your more privacy. I was tired of sitting so I walked to the bar and the bartender was great. The food was very good and the girl variety was great. Out of four girls that were my taste, I did find a lapdance to fit my taste and we spent six dances. The dances were great.

From this years Best Of Dallas issue: You know the old stereotypes about strip clubs. Theyre dark. Theyre seedy. Theyre fun. But when push comes to shove, theyre filled with awkwardness and regret. Hold up, though, fans of naked women: Those sentiments dont apply to The Lodge, except for the fun part. Designed to look like a ski or hunting lodge, the place isnt your run-of-the-mill black-room-with-silver-poles establishment. No, this one has wood furnishing everywhere, and its complemented by stone and brick adornments. Its tough not to be taken aback by it, actually, even if thats not what you came to see. Speaking of what you came to see, though: The ladies? Well, theyre pretty nice, too. The Lodge, vehement in referring to itself as a "gentlemens club" as opposed to a strip club, holds itself to a ridiculously high standard. The classy vibe of the place just trickles down throughout the entire establishment—and it seems to apply to the ladies, who walk around the place in gowns, rather than G-strings. Its just, well, tasteful, thats all. Tasty, too, by the way: The menus legit. We recommend the club sandwich.

Went there a few times the last couple of years during the occasional trips I have taken down to the "Big D". Found this place to be the more higher class established places verses the other more trashy joints in the area. For the most part the ladies were gorgeous, the food was pretty good, their prices were not too bad food or drink wise, but I did find the waiting service to be very slow. If you are in a hurry to grab a drink or bite to eat, and then leave the speed of the service, especially when they are crowded, will not make that happen. Saw some really lovely young women, with a clean atmosphere & good sound system. This is the better if not the best and at least higher end strip club in all of the Dallas FW area, they do charge a small price at the door but the service staff is generally friendly overall. Not bad at all when compared with their trashy competition.

I was not impressed by the women. Most were over 30 and full of plastic surgery, some better and worse than others. All the girls were nice and some intelligent thats all they had going for them. As a dancer myself was not impressed by the clientele, they were rude and expected sex, but maybe they do not appreciate natural beauty and humor. I do pole competitions and have placed in state and regional compitions. The performers here strutted and twirled their hair. Just a more laid back establishment for business men or a date with your girlfriend. Not a place for a fun night or quick money (from a traveling dancer like myself) definitly a customer based club. Beautiful atmosphere and amazing food as well. Just not a place for a fresh 21 year old with a toned body and natural beauty. They like Bay watch, thick plastic beauties, well at least the clients.
