I gave this place 2 stars strictly because Its a place to country dance. Its close to my home and is convenient. First thing first: Dont expect to get free water, even if you are a DD. I think this is ridiculous, especially since everyone pays a cover to get in. Second: If youre trying to be competitive, make your prices competitive. Youre going to charge a cover to get in AND charge $4 a beer? Why would I go to this place when I could go somewhere for those prices thats more renown? Third: The only day that this place seems to be somewhat busy is Saturday. Every other day is awkwardly slow and empty. Fourth: Older crowd. Not necessarily a bad thing, but if youre a 20-something dont go here expecting to pick any girls up. Fifth: The General Manager is an idiot. My friend asked for a free water because he was driving about 5 people in my group of probably 25 people. They said no. He explained that he was the DD and they still said no. He got mad, understandably. They then gave him a bottle water after he was visibly upset by their decision to not give him one. He then, in spite, poured out the water into a trash can. Rude move on his part, I know. But then the General Manager Mike then has the nerve to come up to our group, get in his face, then say he has to leave. He questioned why, he said because he poured out the water. We all obviously contested, he then decides to call my friend a "Dick" to his face in front of everyone. The general manager then started arguing with all of us, getting very defensive, and would not leave us alone. I had to go to another bouncer and let him know that he was bothering all of us. It was handled VERY unprofessionally, and I dont understand how someone like that can be in that kind of position. I would LOVE to give him a pointer or two on customer service. My big group of friends now will no longer go there, and instead whenever I do go there its only with 1 or 2 other people.

Wife and I were looking for someplace, anyplace, to go for country dancing in the Dallas area to avoid Red River. It was great to learn that Midnight Rodeo had come to North Dallas. We always try to make it to the Midnight Rodeos in Austin or San Antonio when were down south, but this location is better. Nicest, cleanest, friendliest, most upscale dance hall Ive been to in years of CW dancing all over Texas. No smoking indoors, good race track dance floor, free lessons Wed. and Thru. from beginner to advanced by great instructors, cheap drinks, and a great sound system. Add live music on Thursday and a free buffet on Friday and this place is almost too good to be true. And no, I dont work there or have any affiliation. I just want to get the word out so they can hopefully stay in business. Red River needs some competition.

I have gone to this place several times, and it always seems to be the case. (Dance Floor). I ask the front door guy/Manager present, if they could put powder/Dust on the dance floor. The Managers response was we dont have any. I said it makes it really hard to move on there floor. I mention maybe I can write a review? Manager, in a very smart comment, lady do what you want! Really? First of all, am a paying customer and the party I was with was already upset that they called for reservations and never go a call back. I was disappointed in lack of concern or caring the management seems to be with the happiness of the client. So I guess I can look for a new place to "dance" instead of walking around the dance floor. I may have to drive a littler farther but it will be worth it. Good Luck! Midnight Rodeo!

My wife and I started going a couple of months back and we love the place. Great music from country, club to hip hop music. The staff is friendly and the best part is the prices on drinks, $2.50 domestic beer and mix drinks are not far from that either. I seldom write reviews but last night was a night that I wont forget and I wanted to share our experience with you. Midnight Rodeo happened to have a raffle that night and we came out winning a 32" tv. Wow that was the cherry on top for the night. We have also done the free country dance lessons they offer at 7pm on Fridays. Great place if you are looking for a place to have fun with out all the drama.

So came here for a pina coulda. In memory of my deceased NCO. And the blender did not work. It was pretty late when my friends and I decided to go out and no way we could make it somewhere else in time. Then when I preceded to get very irritated the bar tender cut me off. I didnt cuss I didnt cry, I didnt yell. I told him how upsetting that it was and why it was upsetting me. Asked if there was anything else he could do. Then he cut me off over one disagreement about that. So if you like to argue or be pissed about their crappy equipment its not worth the 6 dollars.

I would have given them a five expert except for two things. 1 that for what ever reason this place attracts the elderly crowd and that comes with pushy, controlling male dance partners. 2 the dj Thursday and Saturday nights plays the same songs. It gets old. Theres so much country music to choose from. And the 20 minutes they play hip hop and other music its always the same 7 songs whats with that. Otherwise they get my vote for friendly staff, great atmosphere, great food, clean and safe place to party. Ive been there 5 times this summer.

My husband and I went to the bathroom together because I need help sometimes, the bouncer came in the bathroom, he like to beat the door down and told us to get out of the club you have family bathrooms and transgender bathrooms so I dont know the harm in a husband and wife in the same bathroom. This place is a joke anyway . Drinks are watered down and you have to buy water. Wait staff is not friendly. Want be back and will let people know this place is a joke.

I have love and enjoy coming to this place is not as crowded that you could barely dance we always have a great time the staff is awesome we feel welcome not like Red River that you are just a number to their list! Midnight Rodeo is more home Country Dance Place they remember you and drinks are good music is great I would not drive all the way to Red River to be on line and I could barely dance because you could not dance how you want to!

Awesome and very clean. Went for the first time alone and wow its like going to a fancy club. Im going again for sure. Now the waitress.... well there was only one for the whole place but shes gorgeous and has a great smile. The bartender after you walk in.... shes very energetic and very sexy. Of course she has to flash her behind a couple times lol
