This venues name suits it perfectly...it is majestic. The architecture is breathtaking inside this historical beauty. In response to negative reviews about acoustics, there is a reason for sound boards and artists should take the time to adjust. I have not had a problem with either show I have seen here. I agree with the feedback about balcony and loge/ "presidential box" seats being incredibly close together. For an average sized person, your knees will touch the chair in front of you. The chairs also lean back (too much so in my opinion) which makes it even more awkward and borderline uncomfortable. For loge seating you are literally even with the first few rows of the orchestra level, but I recommend the fourth row pair because it is raised a step above the first three for better viewing. The first three rows you have to lean out a bit in order to see which is fine for the person on the edge, but makes things harder to see for the person near the door. A few of us ended up standing by the door for the encor to see better and take a break after sitting in the awkward seating. There are decent parking options within walking distance that accept cash or credit card. Overall a wonderful venue to experience.

Very old theater but you can tell theyve taken care of it/revamped it over the years. It is absolutely breathtaking on the inside. The ushers are incredibly kind. Sat in the Loge section and it was mostly great. If the seats didnt lean back it would be better. I felt like the person in front of me was nearly in my lap at times. If you have long legs you may rethink sitting in this section. Also the person nearest to the stage(next to the railing) can see perfectly. But if youre in the seat not directly next to the railing it can be difficult to see the entire stage.

Beautiful place however it doesnt seem like it has been taken care of. The staff is helpful. We enjoyed the concert even though some people who took our seats refused to move. We decided to sit a row back because we had come in late and it was easier than disturbing everyones concert experience. If you are getting balcony seats beware, if the performer walks to the front half of the stage you will not be able to see them.

Great theater, went and saw Bill Burr here for the first time and loved it. Almost all of the seats offer a good view of the stage, with a handful not being ideal. The place is oozing in historic charm and is really cool. If you get the chance to go see a show here Id go, its not too big that it feels like your too far away, and not too small that it feels like a B list celebrity appearance. Its just the right size.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It is a hidden gym within the downtown Dallas area. I think that more people should go in and take a look at it and because it is magnificent... The people here are very nice the others at the doors always take good care of you they will show you to your seat it is unlike any of the other theaters in the Dallas area. It is so historical youve must go see it...

Dont get balcony seats unless you like feeling like a sardine and touching other people. Had a hard time seeing alton. Rown. They have a jumbo tron. We were on row c, which is only three down from the edge of the balcony, and couldnt see over peoples heads. Been there before for trailer park boys, but we were on the bottom floor, and it was much better. More comfortable and better visibility.

This is a very cool venue. I sat in the mezzanine. The seats were a little tight. Im 62". The sound was excellent and my view of the three stage was unobstructed. I was in the back rows, and my view of the screens at the back of the stage was blocked by the ceiling of the upper balcony. It was still nice experience and I would do it again, and simply choose better seats.

Classic theatre. Saw a Star Wars movie marathon there and it was great. Comfortable seats. Projection system was great! (think it was digital, not 35mm film). They had people conducting surveys to gauge the level of interest in bringing classic movies to the Majestic. That would be wonderful, because the architecture and decor of the theatre have a classic vibe.

We had box seats and glad the person in front of me left or I would have missed the show since my seat was not against the railing. Maybe people were 3 tall when these were built? The sound was boomy but the place itself is classy and the ushers are on top of everything. The bathrooms are 14 flights down, but it was Elvis Costello, so who cares?

Beautiful venue. Saw a fantastic show put on by Alton Brown. Large, but felt cozy and personal. Acoustics are decent. Bathrooms are in a well-lit basement and there are a decent number of stalls in the womens room. Found decent parking in garage near by. Nice restaurantsin the area, just be aware of hours of operation.

Great looking theater, but dont get seats in the balcony. If you are in the balcony you better have short legs, otherwise there is not enough leg room. The acoustics of the theater can be overwhelmed if the performance is a bit loud. We couldnt understand the lyric of both the bands that played on many occasions.

This theatre is a throwback gem. This is a nice little place loaded with history in downtown Dallas. We visited to see a Chris Hardwick show and had a great seat. We could of purchased any ticket on the main floor and been satisfied. Im a tall guy and didnt feel smushed in my seat like many places.

Best venue Ive ever attended. The staff were incredible- they were smiling and helpful to every single attendee, even those who were trying to nab seats. The bathrooms were clean and the entire place is absolutely stunning. Sound and lighting were top-notch.

This place is very pretty on the inside. They offer adult beverages which was a plus. The seating was comfortable. I enjoyed watch I mg the show here. $10 parking at the garage was not too bad. I will definitely be watching more shows here in the future.

It is a beautiful place with a full bar where I have seen many great performances. I dont think it is accessible at all (restrooms are in the basement with no elevator) and the seats are not the most comfortable, but it is still very much worth a visit.

Came to this joint to watch Fluffy. Theater is real nice show was pretty good, but the crowd was kinda disrespectful. I came to the show to watch Fluffy, not listen to them finish some of his jokes. But all in all, not a bad evening.

This is a beautiful venue. My only issue with it is that the staff didnt care about people using their flashes during the show. The constant bright light from the flashes or from the phone screens themselves was distracting.

Its a great concert venue if you bring your own chemical fun or abstain. As you might expect, staff is polite though perhaps a bit befuddled. Drinks were much too expensive...think one beer for 1.5x the price of a six pack.
