The Stage at Island Park is like a diamond in the rough in Fargo. I recently went to the Young Frankenstein musical and was genuinely impressed with the level of talent in the show. This was the first time my wife and I had been to the Stage at Island Park and we will most certainly return. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I have been going to shows at FMCT for 2 years now and I have worked on shows there during the same time. They have produced very quality productions, and if you havent been there yet, I would highly suggest that you give it a try! They do so many shows throughout the year, and their summers also have great kids programs.

Attended Peter and the Starcatchers. While the play was somewhat lacking in props, they made up for it through creative acting, at times resorting to using fellow actors as inanimate objects. The venue itself is also quite scenic, as it overlooks the eponymous Island Park. Seating was a mite uncomfortable.

Great venue for both local theater and other events - Ive rented out this space on numerous occasions and it has always worked out well. Its a small theater with a thrust / rounded stage, and there really are no bad seats.
