Unique and Interesting! But do not honor discounts and or promotions even if listed on their site. See final update as to why they are getting 2 stars. I am not much for Karaoke but my wife and friends are. It is always a challenge to find a place that will entertain me while they have fun. They had a nice selection of food and the drinks although not top shelf were very reasonably priced. Why some Karaoke places dont have food and drink and if they do they charge theme park prices I will never know. But City Night Café & KTV stands on their own as a place that has a pretty good mix of music and enough food n drink to keep me happy. ;). Update: second visit - at the first visit we were encouraged to leave a nice review. I only give a review I believe in. So the above remains true. However they said if we leave a good review they would give us a free shot on our return visit. Apparently they do not follow through with that anymore. So beware. If they say it get it in writing. ;). Also the music slection was better this time so that was a plus. Go with the keypad vs the touch screen. Its a little hard to figure out at first but has a better selction. Dinging a star for not following through with the previois offer. Update: So we brought a group of friends and got the Paris room. It was nice enough. Mens bathroom - puke in the urinal. Nice under the blacklight. Online the website stated 20% off all rooms all summer. The ad was listed all over the site. On checkout the manager that denied the previous promotion said oh that was only for last month. He would not honor it. Final nail in the coffin was that there is an 18% service fee. I know its a whole 1% but the reciept showed 19%. Bad business. Go when the manager is not on staff and you will get much better service. I have to say he was pretty rude.

Went in the VIP room in a group of almost 30. The room was big enough to fit probably even 40. It does get a bit hot with more and more people but it wasnt a disaster. The room even has a restroom for itself! Employees were very cool in handling situations and very concise in their explanations. Reserving songs are a bit gimmicky in the room though. The seats are spread across a pretty wide room and the machine is in one corner of the room. I hate the feeling of losing time in this try-and-learn experience and I have to pay for that time. It discourages me to come back again. It really wouldve been nice for them to give us an additional time for the lost time in the beginning to switch out the machines. I asked nicely and they said no. :( I asked them to hook up the Korean Karaoke machine because more people were familiar with it. (To avoid issues on the day of, if you have these kind of specific room preferences you should ask ahead of time.) But staffs should be able to show some lenience in these cases. It makes the place feel more friendly and encourages customers to come again. The extra maybe 20 dollars I paid didnt ruin my day. I had lot of fun and the place was nice and clean. Pricings definitely favorable during the weekdays... But I still recommend it for a big group looking to sing away the night!

Went here with a group of friends and rented the VIP room. Had the absolute WORST SERVICE Ive ever received. Im usually pretty lenient because I used to work as a server, but this was ridiculous. I ordered a beer around 11pm. Waited a half hour, never saw the waitress again. Went outside to find our waitress to let her know I still hadnt gotten my beer and that others in our room needed to order. Another 20 minutes she came back without my beer, and I kindly reminded her again. Finally 10 minutes later, got my beer. THATS 1 HOUR TO WAIT FOR A BEER! Meanwhile, my friend next to me had ordered a drink around the same time. The waitress came back THREE different times over the course of an hour to have her change her order because they were out of ingredients. She ended up never even getting a drink. Things they ran out of that night: blue moon, strawberry mix, sweet and sour, every whisky except Jack Daniels, and several other things Im sure just we never tried to order. Totally unacceptable. Never received an apology from the waitress or staff, and the tip is automatically charged so it didnt matter much to her anyways. I will NEVER come back to this place. Beware.

Enjoyed the time spent...did not understand their late-guest check-in...the host up front said to "call them" after I gave the name of our organizer so... I just walked by and went to all room, peering in until I found my crew But seriously & honestly-- do they really expect folks to answer their phones while in a closed room performing karaoke?!

worst service. over priced. they charge tax and service fee of 20% on top of room fee. all rooms were empty but they said only largest room was available then charged all sort of junk fees when we didnt even order food. total rip off! never come back!!

My favorite place to go karaoke in Carrollton . Well-decorated room. Good quality speaker +Amplifier . Wide selection of song. Awesome servers. The open disco at the entry is a little bit much for me. The only thing can be improved is the food menu.

Barely any songs in English. Most songs were just the video for the song plus the words on the screen. They play the original song. With vocals and everything. And the navigation system for selecting songs was difficult to use. Not impressed.

This is my favorite karaoke place and I absolutely love it! Good level of service, great atmosphere, good drinks and always fun going there with my friends! Everyone that works there is so nice and accommodating. Highly recommended karaoke bar.

Night time this place becomes a club basically. The young people come here to party and get wasted. There are private rooms for the kaorake with each room named as a major city. Restrooms are disgusting, do not go into them if you can hold it.

To stop of fun, great service. The ladies working were extremely polite and helpful. Seemed like she checked on us every 15 minutes. The rooms were in terrific condition. Drinks were good. Good song selection

I tried to reserve an appointment for a bday party in a small room. I was prepared to reserve it with a credit card. They said the only rooms they reserve are large for $45 an hour. I have to find a new place.

So many choices when it comes to the vibe you want your karaoke fun to have. They even have a corporate room thats something I would definitely recommend. The food was amazing as well!
