I went to the late show last night to see Kevin Hart. He was so freaking hilarious so I really hate to report anything negative. But this comment has nothing to do with the show itself. The lady who works the front door made an inappropriate comment when she thought everyone was gone. We were still in the building since our waitress was busy and we were waiting on our change. She said she hates working the black shows because the black people always leave food on the floor. She apologized when she realized black people heard her but too late. She claimed she was the manager but if thats the case she should know better to make a comment like this. I dont know if I want to patronize a business that employees a manager who would make a derogatory statement even in front of her employees since she didnt know we were still there.

I like comedy, but this place has everyone cramped on top of each other. My friend almost got into a fight because she was too close to the table next to us and every time she moved, she would accidentally bump the lady that sat closest to her. The lady kept making snide remarks, and giving her the side eye when she could see clearly that there was no room to move. Then theres the 2 item non-negotiable items you must buy. After paying $40-$50, especially to a sold out audience, they should not hold you to that. People love to eat & drink, so if its good, we will buy regardless. Since this is all we have, we have to deal with it, but just because the capacity is 500, doesnt mean you have to adhere to that. Its time to move Zanies.

Good show and nice club. My veggie burger had a big bit of pork or beef or something in it (see pic). I didnt mention it to the staff, but Im sure they would have replaced it as they were very nice. We got one meal at the start and the second meal got lost . But after speaking with our server, someone (a manager?) came out and apologies and quickly fired up the kitchen and got us the meal and didnt charge for it. Which was nice. The place was packed so was hard to get the attention of our server earlier to let them know our meal didnt come. I would like to see prices on the drink menu. As it felt a little sneaky to not have them there. But still a good night which could have been pretty bad if the staff werent so nice .

My hubby n I saw Aries Spears, Earthquake & Dominique within 1 months time. All hil-ar-i-ous. The Place is old & on a corner where the parking lot is VERY small n cramped. The inside is cramped as well. Very small tables too. We barely sat down n the waitress was hounding up to buy drinks. , which btw are overpriced. The food is good but overpriced too. The main reason we come is for comedy which is why the star rating. I can come see my fav comedians ftom tv n youtube, which is great. Go to early dhow. Parking is a lil better for 1st show than the 2nd. We will b back because they have great comics here. Great fun atmosphere.

We were at Zanies on Saturday night. We had a great time. However, as we were checking our bank statement on Monday morning we noticed that we had been charged way more than what our printed receipt had on it Saturday night. We were pissed about this because not only did the club steal from us we gave Grace the waitress an 11.00 cash tip. We could not believe someone would be so bold as to add money to a ticket that had already been signed and should have been cashed out. They had to have copied down our card information and then add in a different amount. I will be taking this to the media.

Im a very long time patron of Zanies Comedy Showplace and me and my fiance Damien went to see Arnez J on last night. I go see him every year because hes too funny!!! Im also a professional Baker/Executive Master Pastry Chef in Nashville, TN. for 13 years. I always bring a homemade cake and my business card for every comedian that comes to Zanies!!! I give it 5 stars for bringing in the best top comedians, having excellent customer service, food and drinks. Kuddos to Zanies Comedy Showplace!!!

Saw the cast of Impractical Jokers here a while back. Very cramped quarters inside and out. In a somewhat odd, out of the way location in town. With the star power they seem to be able to draw, a bigger, better, more modern and crowd-friendly location should be a top priority. Food was mediocre and the place was a bit dirty for my taste. Lots of seats were not very conducive to seeing the stage, such as the ones we had. Id go back again but theres lots of room for improvement.

My last experience Zanies was Sunday night. For the first time I was seated upstairs. I did not enjoy the show because I could not hear it. The speaker system upstairs is very inadequate. Honestly I only heard maybe 20% of the show at best not only because of the speaker system but because the performer had laryngitis. Sad deal , those were the most expensive tickets I bought and Zanies and attended there with the exception of Adam Sandler but he performed at Opryland.

Its easy to be the number 1 club in Nashville when youre the only comedy club in Nashville. With any competition in town, this place would be quickly forgotten. So many of the acts, except for the headliners are just painful and boring to watch. Will not go back. And....the guy working the door (on March 5th @ 7:30 to be exact) was a rude, arrogant, d-bag who turned us off to this place right off the bat. Trying to compensate, maybe. Done with Zanies Nashville.

I went and saw Tom Segura and I loved it! My friend told me to come about forty five minutes early to get parking and to get in line at the door. We were seated very close to the stage. The club has a two item menu and I feel like a majority of the options were coming off of the sysco truck. Next time I will eat before i go and just order two drinks to fulfill the requirements. The atomosphere in the club was fantastic, cant wait to catch another show.

First off. I need to say the show was sold out. So I can understand there may be some delay in service. That being said, our server was very slow to take our order and to refill our drinks. At 10 dollars a drink and since its a comedy club. I would expect them to follow the rule of the more you drink the funnier the comendian is. I would have drank more, but I figured if I ordered another, it would not arrive until after the show. The food was ok!

Went with friends to the James Gregory night. The staff gave us 2 choices of seating on a backless stool along the railing. They continued seating others behind at seats closer to the stage and regular seats. The Staff sucks. It pays to get there early and stand in line but even then the staff will some of the people that you were ahead of better seating and closer to the entertainers. We wont be back.
