The time it opens is in the middle of the day, making it difficult for community members who work 9-5 to use. The fitness center needs new equipment, up-to-date machines and the community needs to be invited to be part of what could be a great place. Its empty during the afternoon hours, WHY? The pool is a fantastic large indoor pool open year round and again only a few people even know about it. They have a walking trail partially wooded which is very pleasant if you over look all the trash that has accumulated over months and months. I use the facilities because I live in the community and I pay taxes, I want to see this huge building utilize more and I want it to be clean, warm and inviting. The grounds need major landscape and beautification. If the community gets behind the powers to be this could be the answer to unifying the community and a place for youth, families and seniors

Love the swimming pool just didnt understand the rules of the slides and why my son couldnt get on it! The lifeguards were very quiet and non talkative

Needs a bit more cleaning but just in certain areas. Many light fixtures not working. Staff is helpful and friendly. Nice variety of things to do.

Because its a wonderful place in the neighborhood where anyone can go and have fun pray swim mentor and be a part of something like a family.

The employees are so rude and always have an attitude for the little things. Hickory hood has its name for a reason.
