I got married at the Red House in the Fall of 2014. I immediately fell in love with the Red House when it was featured in Nashville magazine in 2009. Being a retrofitted recording studio, it had the casual/contemporary feeling that I was wanted without being so laid back as to make my older relatives uncomfortable. The atmosphere is perfect for celebration: the building offers so much character that not much else is needed to make your event feel unique and special. Both my husband and I wanted a wedding that our friends and family would remember, and the Red House certainly provided us with a memorable one. We used Bethe as our wedding coordinator. In hindsight, this was one of the best decisions we could have made regarding our wedding. She was friendly and EXTREMELY helpful in putting out the small fires that invariably pop up during the wedding day. For example, a small rain shower occurred during the reception of my wedding while all of the guests were eating. Bethe was able to transition the entire group inside without stressing me (or anyone else) out. We also benefited from her relationship with caterers and bartenders—booking all of the necessary staff for a wedding can be a major headache that we avoided thanks to Bethe. Our guests were almost as complimentary of Bethe as they were of the venue. I recommend the Red House to anyone hosting an event.

I recently had my wedding at The Red House on November 2, 2013. I cant recommend this venue enough... from start to finish, the communication from The Red House was outstanding. This is the perfect place to have a fun, intimate wedding, and the tone can be as casual and as formal as you want. My husband and I wanted something super laid back that didnt have many of the traditional events (first dance, large wedding party, etc), and it was still a great wedding because the venue is so cool (think charming historic house with gigantic rock and roll posters everywhere). Also, The Red House gives you lots of flexibility - hire any florist you want, an excellent selection of caterers, Bring-Your-Own alcohol (which will save you oodles of $$$). If you do nothing else when you book The Red House (and you should!) you should also hire Bethe as your day-of wedding coordinator. She is literally a life saver. I worried about NOTHING on my wedding day because she set up the rentals and decorations and met with the vendors. Best money I spent on the wedding by far. Thank you Red House for a beautiful wedding!

The day after we got engaged, my fiancé (now husband) found me scrolling through wedding venues on my phone. When I got to The Red House’s website, my heart skipped a beat. I showed him the photos and said, “This is where I want to get married.” He said, “Okay.” I didn’t need to look anywhere else. Choosing The Red House as my wedding venue was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From our first meeting with Bethe Smith, the coordinator at The Red House, to the actual day of our wedding, I felt 100% assured that our event was in the best of hands. Bethe gave us fabulous recommendations on catering, cakes, décor, and all the other essentials to make our wedding a day to remember. I am not the best planner, so having Bethe in our corner was a tremendous relief. I didn’t have to worry about forgetting anything – she had it covered. Our guests raved about the beauty and unique look of the venue as well as the seamless transition from ceremony to reception to the beautiful sparkler send-off. My wedding day was truly a day to remember, and it’s all thanks to Bethe and The Red House.

My wife and I got married and had our reception at The Red House on Friday November 9th, and it was PERFECT! Bethe, the house coordinator and our wedding planner, was there for us for anything and everything we needed for months before the wedding, leading up to the day of. She was invaluable to our wedding day going very smoothly and made our crazy wedding stressed lives so much easier! She made sure everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there, without ever being forceful or hurried. The house itself is amazing, so intimate, swanky, romantic, and elegant without being stuffy or pretentious. The house makes people want to have fun, I swear by that! People danced for hours, and made our wedding more beautiful and more fun than we ever dreamed. Every single person who attended our wedding raved over how unique of a venue it was, and just how "cool" it was! Several people mentioned it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended, and I definitely have to agree. Have your wedding here, stop looking any further and choose The Red House!

My husband and I held our wedding reception at The Red House this past May. I cannot stress enough how incredibly happy we both were with it. All of our guests have given us extremely positive feedback on the venue. They all loved the atmosphere and warmth that it provided. This was the perfect venue for both our personalities and our budget! It allowed us to make cuts that other venues wouldnt have, and we were still able to paint the picture we had imagined. It was perfect. The coordinator, Bethe, was absolutely phenomenal. Her personality in itself put me at ease with the planning, and then the day of she went above and beyond to make sure that everything went the way we wanted to. If anything needed to be done, she handled it so that we could enjoy our special day. She really is an angel and was essential to the success of our reception. Use this venue and Bethe! You will NOT be disappointed!!

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! My husband and I were married in a small family ceremony at the end of 2011. We decided to have a large reception at The Red House mid January! The moment I walked in the door to visit, I knew the venue was exactly what I wanted. The event far exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and the decor was beautiful, but the best part was the exceptional event coordinator. Bethe Smith is kind and patient and made the stress of planning a large event non-existent. Any negative reviews about an event coordinator were surely about the coordinator prior to Bethe. I would recommend this venue for any event. My friends and family are still raving about the evening and filled my Facebook page with compliments about the night. We utilized The Red House for our wedding this past weekend and it was absolutely amazing. The venue is unique, very eye-catching and its in the middle of historic downtown Franklin which just adds to it all. I could not possibly imagine choosing anywhere else at this point. Our event planner, Bethe, was incredible. From the time I walked in the door, I knew we were going to see exactly what we wanted actually fulfilled. She pointed us in the right direction for everything from catering down to tiny, meaningful details to make it really special to us. She has such a calming nature which is much needed when it comes to planning any sort of event. I really cannot thank her enough and I really cannot think of anywhere else out there that offers all the elements of event planning so simply in such a distinct, individual way. The Red House and Bethe totally rock it. :)
