We went to see Jupiter Ascending 2/20/15 the movie started early which was ok. But the employees were kind of rude except the one selling tickets when we went. When the movie was over my family likes to stay through the credits sometimes well the rude employees actually very rudely insisted that my family leave that we did not need to read or watch the credits. Who are they to tell people what they can do . My family was quietly reading the credits to see who the actors were etc. They were very very rude. This is the second time they have been rude to my family. This is why we would not recommend the Easley Cinema 8 to anyone. It is closer to our home but we go out of way to go to other theaters where we have never been treated rudely ever. We used to come to this theater often and they were really polite and friendly we even knew the manager and never had a problem until they changed managers and thats when it went down hill for us. If people want to stay and watch the credits its the family or persons choice to do so and not have rude theater employees rudely make them leave .Thanks for letting me vent and for reading and im sorry if I made anyone angry over it. Have a blessed day.

I attended a movie at the Easley 8. There were only about a dozen people in that particular showing. However, two of the people, who sat up front, were young tweens and had no proper upbringing. They laughed and talked loudly during the movie, completely wrecking our movie experience. I stood it as long as I could before going to the theater manager to report those ill mannered children. The manager proceeded to go down and shush the tweens and they quieted down long enough to let the manager exit the theater before they began again. Then they bolted from their seats and walked up the aisle and glared in my direction as they passed. At least they did leave the theater but my experience was ruined. I will not return to this theater. I will happily drive an extra 30 minutes to go to a theater that has better crowd control for an enjoyable experience.

This theatre was bad as far as movie experiences go. While the staff was friendly, etc and so on, the movie experience was horrible. All indications I saw were that they still use film (quality and film cans in the lobby). The picture for the movie I saw (Sherlock Holms, 2009) was very dark and a little grainy and did not take up their full screen. Also the sound keep going between really loud and really quite throughout the movie. The room we were in also smelled weird. Plus its just old style seating - sloped floor, not stadium. All this and they still charge $8.25 for an evening matinee; worth $5 at the very most. Next time Ill just jump over to Anderson for one of the theatres there that cost the same.

Compared to the past, the inside of the theaters are completely redone. The theater has new digital projection lasers, offers 3D movies, and has new wide plush leather seats that are very comfortable. The sound quality has greatly increased also. This is one of the only theaters that offers popcorn that is freshly popped and isnt poured out of a bag. The tickets are reasonably priced (if youre a student its a great deal just show your student ID even on friday nights). If youre in Easley this going here beats having to drive to Greenville, Cherrydale, or Anderson.

**Just want to warn everyone that the popcorn is popped with a mixture of canola and coconut oil. I have been going to this theatre for over 17 years now and have never gotten sick from the popcorn. Last time I was there I got very ill, found out what they use to pop the corn and I am allergic to coconut. Called to let management know that they might want to put up a sign letting the customers know, he was very indifferent and could careless if someone got sick. ** ~FYI~ it would take less than 3 minutes to write a sign and tape it up at the menu board. If I could rate this theatre a 0, I would. Horrible service and they wont do anything when people cant handle their loud children. People need to teach their children and honestly themselves, how to behave during a movie. Some of us want to enjoy it without any interruptions. Its not that hard. If you cant go an entire movie without being quiet or being on the phone, dont bother spending the money to watch something that you arent going to pay attention too, anyways.

Buying the movie tickets at the concessions counter was unusual, but not inconvenient. The self-serve drinks and popcorn were a welcome surprise, since whatever complicated creation you want to make with all the drinks and toppings is on you, and the line can move much faster. Also, something about their popcorn dispensing machine filtered out ALL of the unpopped kernels. That is fantastic.

New revamp is wonderful. I dont see us battling traffic to go to another theater. The fresh-popped popcorn with free refills, the DIY drinks and Icees with free refills make this an economical choice for families. The theater seating is comfortable and weve had no issues with any of the shows weve seen. All the employees are friendly without the "I dont want to be here" attitude.

This theatre is always nasty smelling, and the employees are flat out rude. Single us out for a bag search when several ladies walking in with giant purses crammed full of Cook-Out and boxes of chocolates. No one who works anywhere had the right to talk to my wife like the cow did there tonight and we will NEVER attend a movie at this theatre again.

Newly renovated. Nice updates. I like that you can buy your tickets and snacks at the same time. One transaction! The new seats are fabulous, easy to wipe off, easily noticed if not cleaned, not like the old creepy chairs when you wondered what nasty person sat in it last or when the last time it was cleaned.

After the recent renovations, this is THE BEST sound in a theater that I have ever heard. The leather seats are more comfortable than anywhere else. Forget the "stadium seating." It means little. The price is better than the competition as well. This is my movie theater of choice in the Greenville area.

Love the new improvements! Great seating, very comfortable. Dolby, digital picture and sound. Like going to a big town cinema without the drive or high prices. Very courteous employees. Nice little theater close to home. Good job Easley!

Great place! The staff offers warm greetings and great service. We always enjoy our trips there. Seating is comfortable, the sound systems provide excellent surround sound and the 3D viewing option is always worth the upgrade.

The last few times that Ive been the aisles in the theatre have had popcorn on the floors. Sometimes there will be left over drinks in the cup holders too. I usually go all the way to Cherrydale since its cleaner and bigger.
