Fortunate enough to see Jonathan Demmes film of the Talking Heads classic performance at LA’s Pantiges Theater, shown in all its glory at the Prince Theater. Never before had I gone to a movie theater to see a concert performance. It was an unexpected treat. Fans even clapped & cheered after each song. Weird, but I liked it.

I just discovered that this place also shows movies when there are not live musical performances going on. Its a great place to see a movie the screen is huge, the theater is clean, and the seats are very comfortable. And theres an added bonus of a small bar in the lobby that sells drinks that you can bring into the theater.

This was a fun theater! Saw Rogue One here and really enjoyed it. The image quality was off on some shots for some reason, but otherwise it was great. Also, the prices were extremely reasonable for being in the middle of the city.

The Prince is a classic. My wife and I went here for a Curtis Opera performance and loved it. It has a very old timey charm and has nice, comfortable seats. The drinks are expensive, but its worth a visit.

Prince is possibly my favorite venues in the city to see a live band or film. The state of the art, stadium seating establishment is booked daily with great music.
