This is such a unique place to go and see a show. Mt. Gretna overall is really unique and beautiful but the Theater is especially cool. You really feel like youre stepping back into another era to attend an old Chautauqua session. I attending a showing of Civil War Voices here (July 2017) The theater is open on all the sides and is surrounded by a forest of trees. Even in July I found the theater and surrounding area to be comfortable. Be sure to stop down the hill to the Jigger Shop before or after a show.

Mt Gretna Theatre is awesome! This was our first time here, and we were truly impressed by the quality of the production and the powerful singing voices of the cast. Great orchestra too and pleasant sorrounding area. We look forward to coming back. We had a most enjoyable experience.

Tierney Sutton concert at Mt. Gretna...not my favorite artist. My wife got tickets. I would not have wasted the money, but it is our sixteenth wedding anniversary, and it was her desire to go to gretna. Not my favorite place...not my favorite people.

Summer productions, very historically significant, Charles Coghlan was the director there in the 50s, 60s 70s-an actor, director Lost Generation artist. Open air building. Charlton Heston got an early start here. This is located in a chautaqua

The first thing that you need to get is a pair of good walking shoes and a camera and the place really gives you a chance to get intouch with nature and have a great time and I sure you Will be back to visit Mt Grenta again.
