Colonial heritage site where George Washington stayed while his troops camped in nearby, better known Valley Forge during the winter. Every spring there is a colonial festival day known as Sheep Shearing Day with all sorts of demonstrations, crafts, and tours. Other events, demonstrations, and exhibits are schedule throughout the year. There is a summer day camp for children in 4th through 6th grade. Around Christmas time each year, they host a candlelight tour.

I been going to this farmstead since I was little with my grandma. I now volunteer there since 7th Grade. Everyone there is super nice and willing to help anyone. The history there is so rich and enjoyable to learn.

Historic farmhouse/property. Very popular candle light tours during Christmas season. They offer several 1 week programs for kids of all ages during the summer, featuring colonial crafts and activities.

Very educational, and to see a place where George Washington and his troops slept that not too many people know about.
