The word limit for this review is too short to tell my story. I have posted a screen shot of my write up below. Hopefully it is not too difficult to read. I am very disappointed with Meadow Brook for many reasons. My brother, and two friends that I golf with all 3 played on the Gettysburg High School golf team which used this course for practice. The employees should know us very well. However, the last two times we have gone, we have been treated extremely unfair. First time, we paid for 9 holes and wanted to play the back. We have done this many times over the years we have been playing here, and there has never been an issue. This time however, we were attacked by the ranger before we could even step foot onto the tee box. He yelled at us for going to the back, and accused us of underage drinking (we were all of age, and he could have seen this for himself by carding us). We surrendered and just played the front. Next time we went (about a month later) we were in the parking lot loading up the carts (again, before we even stepped foot onto the course) and another employee approached us and stated "I see you kids have beer. I am here to tell you that this will not be a party full of shenanigans." This in my opinion was wrong of him to do. Come to his customers (of over 10 years I must add) and start the day off on the wrong foot by assuming that we are not respectful customers. We stated that we have been golfing here for over 10 years and theres no reason to have to tell us these things. At the end of the round, we decided to park our carts off the side of the parking lot and have one last beer together. Another employee walked up to us and asked us to return the carts. We said that we would finish up our beers, clean out the carts, and have them returned in a couple of minutes. It was not good enough. He demanded the carts immediately for some reason, even though there were at least 15 ready to go at the office. We once again just surrendered and returned the carts. Lastly, and my last straw, they charged my card $225 instead of $25. Now I have to go through the pain of getting that refunded. I will NOT be going back. I have had enough of the way that I have been treated, and enough of the in-capabilities of this staff. I know this sounds like I must have done something to earn this type of skepticism from the employees, but I can assure you that my friends and I have not. They just see that we are young and make false presumptions about who we are. I am very disappointed in this course and its staff.

Played on my way thru the area after working south.A very nice layout. Not perfectly maintained but still in good enough shape to find a decent lie. Greens are in very good condition.Not much of a clubhouse but $1.00 hot dogs and $2.00 burgers. A couple of unique holes (island green on front 9) slope rating 126 from the white makes it easy to score.(shot a 84) A bargain at the weekday price of $18.00 or $15.00 senior.

Not a bad layout, inexpensive, but not well kept at all. Horrible tee boxes. Should never let 6 person group tee off and hold others up. No golf etiquette

Love the course, great scenic views with challenging holes. Great low price is a real plus. Worth the drive, you wont be sorry.
