Ive been to Marks Ridge for a number of dinners, tastings, and musical events....but its been awhile and Im hankering to get up there again. The setting--high on a ridge top, provides a extraordinarily gorgeous view. The owners are the cheerful and friendly hosts; the wine is high quality; the food served has always been well-prepared and delicious; and any live music Ive experienced there has been excellent. I consider a visit there a highlight of whatever month it is I get up there.

You should absolutely visit this wonderful winery. The tasting room is on a ridge that overlooks a beautiful valley below and a tall mountain across and above the valley. You can sit inside and look at the picturesque landscape though the ceiling to floor glass windows or you can sit outside and enjoy the amazing tranquility and fresh air of the Oregon mountains. The owners are friendly and delightful. The wine is delicious. This place is worth the trip!

Stopped by on a beautiful Friday afternoon to enjoy some wines and have a nice picnic. Janet was wonderful, speaking in depth about each wine and the different wine-making practices and methods. What a treat! Its a grand spot to have a picnic and enjoy Oregons wonderful fall weather, and amazing views from the tasting room patio.

Followed the signs after a visit to McDowell Creek Park. It was eclipse weekend, so they were really busy, but found time to chat and make me feel at home. The dessert wine is sweet with just a touch of tart and a slightly dry finish. Really nice and an incredible value... I wish Id bought more!
