We had the most amazing day at Willamette Valley Vineyards when we were visiting our son and his girlfriend in Oregon. After spending time touring wineries in Sonoma on our trip (also an amazing time), we couldn’t have been more pleased with the attention we received at Willamette. We had a personal tour with Steve and learned so much of the history of this beautiful winery, and we tasted many incredible wines, too. We were already fans of the Willamette Valley Whole Cluster Pinot Noir, but found a few new favorites on our visit. Our son readily admits he prefers a cold beer to a glass of wine, but even he raved about the Quinta Reserva Pinot Noir Port. Steve helped us put together a case to ship home to Georgia and there was a nice variety of whites, reds and even a delicious Rose’ – and no one in our group is a big fan of Rose’, but the Willamette Rose’ is outstanding. The grounds of the winery are beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying a cheese platter and wine at the end of our visit – the views are spectacular and we were in no hurry to leave. Our trip to Willamette Valley Vineyards was a highlight and everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. In fact, we joined the Willamette Valley Wine Club and just received our first selections – can’t wait to try these wines. This place was definitely worth the extra 50 minute drive from Dundee Hills. I wanted to go here because I love driving by the huge Willamette Valley sign in front of the vineyards. I had always seen it when I was on my way home from Eugene when I was going to U of O, but I wasnt into drinking wine back then. I love how big and open the tasting room here is, and the expansive view of the vineyards that you get. Theres a nice patio that you can sit at outside that would be perfect in the summers--- too bad we went at the end of March when it was still chilly. Really enjoyed the wines here--- the 2014 whole cluster pinot noir was so good that we had to snag a couple of bottles--- at a great price as well! If you buy two bottles, it waives your tasting fee, which was $15, so a pretty good deal! The service here was great too---- the two people behind the counter were very helpful... even splitting our wine tasting into two glasses, which was convenient for me and my sister. Id love to come back and try the food!

My husband and I have been members of several different wineries throughout the years. We try and change it up a bit but there is one winery we will not change up and thats Willamette Valley Vineyards. I love that the tasting room is so comfortable and spacious and it is also nice that they serve well prepared food. The view is one of the best you will see in the valley. The most important feature is their wines, from their whites to their reds you cant go wrong, amazing and affordable. The next most important part for me and my husband is their hospitality. We always feel welcomed and attended to. Their special events are always fun to look forward to and enjoy. To all those who pour the wine, thanks for your friendly personalities and keeping us educated on all the old and new releases. Anytime we have family or guests in town we make the time to visit Willamette Valley Vineyards. Enjoy and be prepared to join when you go there. Tell them Cheryl and Joe sent you.

We called to set up a tour of Willamette Valley Vineyards for August 3, 2016. First of all...WOW! The renovation they completed is upset ale but comfortable. Beautiful location, sitting on the deck overlooking the vineyards is a fantastic way to spend a day! Our Wine Ambassador, Wende Bennette, was full of spunk, information and created quite the experience for us. She catered the tasting to our likes and preferences, made thoughtful suggestions, shared stories and really got to know us. We felt like VIPs! Getting to see the wine production, facilities, and learn some of the history made for a fantastic afternoon, followed by delicious appetizers with a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back, as we became wine club members, and highly recommend spending time here!

What a unbelievable experience ! First off I want to give a big thank you to the founder of this great vineyard Mr.Jim Bernau. I want to thank him for his wonderful attitude and making me feel so welcomed the last time I was here! Now on to the ultimate experience ! I arranged a private tour with the best wine ambassador in this industry Miss Jennifer Bell. This experience was 10 stars ! The knowledge and the taste of these great wines will leave you in heaven. You can eat here at this great vineyard . I had the chicken and pasta. It was so good! This is my top choice for any wine tour that I am on. If you want top quality wine, excellent customer service , and most of being treated like family come here ASAP! I highly recommend !

Willamette Valley Vineyards was on a gorgeous property with incredible views! The wines we had were fantastic - we ended up ordering 4 bottles. The best part of our experience there was Wende. She was the best hostess anyone could ask for. My husband planned a tasting and tour with her for my birthday and she went above and beyond. She was extremely knowledgable about the history of the winery and all of the wines we tasted. She told the story of Willamette Valley with such enthusiasm that I was entranced. Every piece of the experience was personalized. And she was so sweet! I will never forget it. I cannot express my gratitude to her and and I urge anyone out there to visit this amazing place!

Great views, awesome drive up! Really disappointed in the pricing and quality of the Bernard Griffin line (their fuller bodied reds). Also, the spiel at the start was a bit heavy handed and sort of seemed to assume customers had never been wine tasting and/or couldnt figure out the program without direction - really silly and corporate. Come here to taste some pinots and enjoy the views. Next time Ill order some food from their full kitchen, but was on way to a wedding... Cheers!

Amended review: Although we have previously had wonderful experiences at WVV, our eclipse viewing experience there was not up to the standards weve come to expect from WVV. Loud, disruptive staff made our experience unenjoyable and far less than satisfactory. We were informed that staff training will be handled differently for future events, and I hope that no one else has such a horrible experience at a special event with WVV in the future.

Such an amazing experience! We came during the Thanksgiving Weekend Open House and had such a great time. We were treated to nine wine tastings in the most welcoming environment. The owner, Jim, even popped in during our cellar tour tasting to check in and talk. Upstairs, Shannon gave us the most exceptional experience at the bar. The entire visit was wonderful, and well definitely be returning! Thank you, Willamette Valley Vineyards!

Im never going back to this place again. It as my first experience wine tasting and it was confusing with little help from the staff with explaining what they were pouring. The worst part is, the tender specifically told me she would handle my bill and prevent a double charge. Guesswhat? I have a double charge. Think anybody was willing to talk to me when i called? Nope, just told me they might call back tomorrow. WTF?!?
