I love it here. Encountered a what seemed like a friendly rat last year. The rat ran up to us like a dog, then we tried to pet it and it appeared to try biting us. The clearly injured rat was clearly hungry. It proceeded to chase us and kep trying to bite our feet. Cheap entertainment in oregon at its best. A couple trails to walk and "forbidden" trails too. They have a bike track and rc car track (electric card only). Also has plenty of fishing spots along the shore and a boat ramp. Nice little getaway from the city. #repeatcustomer

I bring my Newfie here for water work practice and training. The location is clean and the water easy to access. No post-practice issues with skin or ear issues for my Newf which is a big plus.

Lots of ducks, geese, birds to feed summertime is a very busy area clackamette park, dahl beach & meldrum bar park are all pretty close together
