Dommage...

Archery Summit Wine is fantastic. All you need to do is look it up in Wine Spectator or Wine Enthusiast to see that no other winery in Oregon scores so high consistently with their wines. 90, 91, 93, 94, 95, 92, 91, etc. year after year. In this climate, that is not easy to do. I fell in love with the place on our first visit, during Memorial Day when the Willamette Valley wineries have an open house. We return again and again. I noticed many people complained about the price and the quality. It is expensive, but not when you compare to vineyards like Opus One, Joseph Phelps, etc. in Napa Valley. And yes, Archery Summit is at that same level. As for quality, Pinot Noir is a funny wine. There are few red wines that elicit such extreme opinions. Many people tend to like Cabernet Sauvignon, syrah and Merlot, but Pinot is often seen as too light and too fruity. I love Pinot Noir and am a fanatic for it. If you really want to get a sense of Archery Summit, compare it against Premiere Cru French Burgundy wine like Nuits-Saint-Georges or Grand Cru like Chambertin. You will find it holds up well in both quality and price. But unlike most French Burgundy wines, it is drinkable on release and it is dependably excellent year after year. You dont really have to worry about which vintage it is, because they are all excellent.

I have been a club member for many years and enjoy the wine. However, due to an ill husband I am terminating this membership. I called your number in December and asked to speak to Serpa. A male answered and said that he would ask her to return my call. No response. I called again in January and spoke to a male. He said that he would relay my message. No response. I called again on February 18 and spoke to a female. She said that she would leave a message for Serpa. No response. I received a note from Serpa addressed to my son and she wanted updated mailing information. I called and left a message on her voice mail again that I was cancelling my membership. because I was aware that a mailing should occur soon. No response. I called again on February 25 and left a new message on her voicemail. I was out of town for a few days and returned today, February 25 to find two notices stuck to my front door for any and everyone to see. I called Serpa and again left a message for her. No response. A few hours later, UPS knocked on my front door with a shipment of wine. I refused the delivery. This lack of customer service is appalling.

Could have been the worst Oregon wine experience, with exception of the wine cave to the bathrooms! Wine was not bad, but the prices where absolutely ridiculous. Coming from California and having spent lots of time out in the vineyards, who are they trying to fool with bottles $80-200 which are far from that in taste!! Honestly I would definitely avoid this place...too many other amazing vineyards just up the road with friendlier folks, nicer tasting room and far better wines for 1/4 of the cost. Thumbs down!

We stopped here on our recent trip to the valley, as they have a very good reputation. We shared a reserve tasting, and the server was very friendly and knowledgable. He gave us some recommendations for other wineries in the area. It was an enjoyable tasting, but I just couldnt justify the prices of the wines. They are on the more expensive end, and the wines just werent as amazing as I thought they would be. The property is beautiful and its still worth a stop.

I have been to a lot of wineries and love Archery Summit. The staff is wonderful and always there to help. I joined the wine club about 5 years ago and I am so happy I did. This place is my hide a away. It doesnt get better, Beautiful views, nice people and the best wine.

Way too much snob appeal and high prices not justified by the wine. The space is very attractive however. In the Dundee Hills, you can do so much better - try Sokol Blosser instead!

Great wines with some of the best views of the vineyard. They are also the only vineyard in the area with an underground cellar, very cool exploring down there.

Beautiful location and the members room is divine on a hot day. However, theres much better quality wines around. But I do recommend the Rose.

Spectacular views and surperb wines. The gravity flow wine caves are worth seeing. Enjoy a Pinot Noir on me!

The wine is good but generally twice the price of comparable wine in the area.
