Definitely surprised by this place, although have seen paper moon distributed to various stores throughout the area. The winery itself is welcomed by Bigfoot himself, who stares off into the distance looking for a juicy, succulent piece of beef jerky as you drive by. The place itself is quite large. There is a patio that is littered with tables to park your derriere as well as live music from 6-9:00pm of varying quality. The rest of the winery is comprised of a cozy indoor section that hosts more tables and also has a kitchen in the back which will overcharge you for pretty much any cuisine ( we bought a margarita pizza for $12 which was about the size of a personal pan from the kids menu at pizza hut). However, the food itself is pretty good. Coupled with some good tasting wine (the harvest blend being a solid, sweet red wine), this is a nice place to drive to if you are within proximity.

I set up a Wine Tour last year and brought about 42 people here as one of our stops. Half the people didnt even know this place existed. SO, I figured I would do a “Wine Tasting” at our club and see if Paper Moon will be one of the Winery’s. Well, It took them over 3 weeks to get back with me with a definite answer.. When I finally talked to someone regarding the Wine Tasting all they wanted to know was if WE would carry their wine. I explained I was calling for a “Wine Tasting!” Yesterday, Sept 25, 2014 FINALLY they call only to say, "No, they cannot help with the wine tasting".. 3 Weeks!! Really!!! Well our clubs has over 2000 members. Your loss Paper Moon.. Im sure our members will remember this right along with the other Veteran clubs. Thanks for taking 3 Weeks Just to say NO! You could have done that on the first call!

Order a salad with chicken at a up charge of $3.00. The "chicken" was one slice of processed chicken luncheon meat diced. The salad itself was small wilted spring greens dotted with 3 mandarin orange slices and a very few cranberries, no almonds were found. Although they knew we were coming there was no service, we were told to move the tables if we wanted to. Buy the wine take it home and you will have a better time.

The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Their wine was fantastic[as always]. I recommend the blackberry sangria or honeymoon mead. During our visit they offered Wood-fired pizzas by The Beautiful Flame. They were great. Watch their website for special food offerings and entertainment on the weekends.... My wife and I will be back!

Every time we go to paper moon the wine and outdoors are perfect. Sometimes theres music or a fire going. And great sandwiches and breads. We make it a stop when we are in Vermilion.. Their twilight wine won a family wine tasting contest over 20 other bottles were brought to the party.

We had a wonderful time wine tasting! Very knowledgeable, courteous staff and great atmosphere. The pumpkin soup was fantastic! Were looking forward to our next visit!

Always enjoy having s bottle of wine in the cozy atmosphere. Fireplace is ice in cold weather, and patio great for warmer.
