We went tonight to see Moe Pitney. We were disappointed when we found out there is no seating. You had to stand for whole concert. We went up to the bar and no chairs there either. Coming down the steps that are not well lit, I fell down on my knees hard. Being 60 this is not a good thing. I would like my money back but know we will never get it back. We did not stay at the concert. Nothing was on web site stating there is no seats. Very disappointed. Will never go back. Sangria was very watered down.

Excellent music venue loving restored to its former beauty by a couple of local guys taking a big chance. The space has good acoustics, charm, space for 250 standing and space for 125 seated at tables. Located about a block from the Newark Courthouse Square. Very clean restrooms. Has a good bar that serves guests in the music hall. Please check them out. This is great place to see live music at reasonable prices.

Did such a good job restoring an the sound quality was amazing! I made a trip to the bathroom an while I was in there the show started an I could hear it perfectly in there. They also have wonderful staff an its low key enough the opening act joins the crowd to watch the main act. In my experience the openers (fables) actually sat at our table. Really recommend anyone to go there. Ill definitely be back!

Drove in from Columbus for a Jerry Douglas Band show and was really impressed by the quality of this venue. Great bar and a cozy old-school sort of ball room for the performance area. A lot of little nice touches like screens around the venue and bar that show the performance so you dont miss any of your show because you were getting a drink. Would definitely come back in the future.

Love this venue! Its a beautiful addition to downtown Newark, the owners and staff are very nice and welcoming, the beers on tap add to the local flavor. Theyve brought in some awesome talent and I cant wait to see whos coming next! Great job Thirty One West!

Decent enough place to see a band play. Only 2 stars because the bar was terrible. 25 minutes to get a drink? I would attend another show at this venue. My wife said she will Never go back

Great music venue with 2 bars. Facility has gon under renovation and consistently being maintained. I recommend this place for anyone wanting a fun memorable evening.
