My good friend took me to see an OSU game last fall. In all honesty Im not the biggest fan of American football, where Im from soccer (or what we call football) is the big sport. But when I went into the stadium I was drawn into the excitement of the Buckeye Spirit. Walking into the stadium I was overwhelmed by the number of people. You would think everyone in Columbus was at the game. When the Buckeyes would score a touchdown or catch a crucial pass the sound of the collective fans is awesome. Its like the stadium is alive. The only downside is that the stadium is open to the elements, and when I saw the game in November I was a bit chilly. More my fault than anything, I should have dressed a little more warmly.

Home of the Buckeyes and greatest college football stadium in the land! Even though the shoe was recently renovated to seat more people, the seating is not crowded. Every seat has a fantastic view of the field - even C deck - and the placement of bathrooms/food is such that youre never left hunting for what you want. The stadium does have wifi, but sadly it is not nearly strong enough to support 109,000 roaring fans. Also, dont expect your LTE or 3g service to work when the stadium is full.

As a Michigan state fan its always a little hard to give compliments to Ohio, but Ive been here 5+ times since moving here last year and I have not had one bad experience here! The stadium is amazing and the fans are incredibly nice. It also doubles as a fantastic concert venue and have attended Buckeye Country Superfest two years in a row now, and each time has been great. They really put on a good show. So, if you are up for a football game or music this is the place to go in Ohio.

Truly a cathedral of college football, gorgeous renovation of a 90-year old facility more than a decade ago which left the historic parts intact while modernizing the stadium for the 21st century. Improved seating, scoreboard and concession facilities Cant misses: band ramp entrance, Dotting the i to Le Regiment, halftime show, Carmen Ohio. IF that doesnt bring a tear to your eye nothing will. Beyond stunning. Do anything to get here at least once.

Do you like football? Then you would love watching a game at The Horseshoe. That’s where The Ohio State Buckeyes play their home football games. It’s a sea of scarlet and gray clad fans cheering in unison. The band plays tunes the fans know by heart like “Hang on Sloopy” and “The Buckeye Battle Cry”. Once you experience an Ohio State football game at the Horseshoe, there’s no place you would rather be on a Saturday in the fall. Go Buckeyes!

Football is a religion in Columbus and this is our cathedral. The university continues to make improvements to the facility every year, including improved food/beverage, WiFi, and even smartphone charging stations. During the summer theyve made a push to bring large concerts here when the venue would otherwise go unused. I saw the Rolling Stones here and thought the band and the venue both put on a great show.

I have been going to this stadium as a kid I the late 50s, a Boy Scout Usher in the 60s, a student at Ohio State University & working in the mail room in the 70s where I met my wife at 242 West 18th Street, where my first son was born at 2:42 PM April 18th, where we graduated, went to more games, and I just took 2 of my grandsons to see the Buckeyes play Bowling Green last weekend. Yes. I love this place.

Bad sounds and the band song selection could be much better. They played the same tune 30+ times in a row. Unimpressive seating with no views what so ever. I attended the Michigan-OSU game and the Michigan Marching Band did their pregame show but it was unheard due to the excessive booing. I might understand booing a team but not a band who pours countless hours into practicing and learning a show. Horrible

For food and drinks there is aways a wait and its expensive. But its the same on every stadium. There are so many gates to enter so you dont have to show up 80min before the game starts which was great. The one thing that is not really great is parking. Beacuse its on campus, if you go to watch a game during school, you will have to show up hours in advance to be able to park close to the stadium.

Historic stadium well past its shelf life in the modern era. Dont let fan bias convince you that a concrete shell with bleacher seats, blocked sight lines and limited food & beer selection is something to write home about. Given the immense expense of tickets and the profits OSU earns from exploiting college athletes, youd think theyd at least give the fans something back.

The Shoe is truly amazing. I love the college football game day traditions that surround the Shoe. With the Buckeyes, and The Best Damn Band In The Land entering the side of the football stadium with the Arch before the game, to Singing Carmen Ohio, to TBDBITL creating the iconic cursive Ohio on the field, Ohio Stadium is truly The Best Damn Stadium In The Land.

Football is a way of life in Columbus Ohio and "The Shoe" exemplifies that. The game itself is arousing experience. Join in with over 100,000 fans to cheer on your favorite team. Some of the best experiences of my life have happened while attending a game here. I will always have fond memories of this place and look forward to making new ones!

Whoever said the Shoe is a HS stadium compared to theirs caught my attention. Im not sure you are of sound mind or vision? There is only a few thousand seat difference and most importantly its still "The Shoe" currently famous because of our football teams SUCCESS (not just this millenia, to mimick your use of the absurd).

A great place to watch The Ohio State Football team play. Food is over priced, but that is to be expected. Make sure you get in the restroom line before halftime or you will be waiting all of halftime. Walk around to each food vendor, they all sell different types of food. I enjoy the roar of the crowd.

I live in Iowa, but had one of my best friends in high school end up coaching at OSU for 3 years. All 3 seasons, my buddies and I drove out to Columbus to catch a game. Having gone to Kinnick in IC many times, I was blown away by the sheer size of the place. Absolutely gorgeous, magnificent stadium.

I may be biased because I am alumni of both the university and The Ohio State University Marching Band but Ohio Stadium (The Horseshoe) is the single greatest sports stadium in existence. If you havent been to a home Ohio State football game you should move that to the top of your bucket list.

Greatest stadium in the world. Period. Its the home of "thee" Ohio State Buckeyes. And the best dam band in the land. And of course the most loyal fans in all of college football. This stadium holds some of the best memories in all of my 49 years on this earth. O-H
